Character Creation and World Building

I made an Arcane Archer. Will introduce her here once I've figured out her backstory and the two NPC's Genisisect asked for.

I'm afraid I've not been able to really do anything on my bard. :/ I've been busy as all get out, only able to post some. However, I'll get going on all that ASA I can.

Fixed, there was an issue with how I typed his name in the first time...

@Genesisect, I will post my stats and character once I have access to my laptop. I'd rather not bother trying with my phone.

Ah. Thanks! Is it exclusive to that background? Just curious. Kinda cool, but doesn't quite fit my character anyway.

I have a bunch of unnecessary items from my class/background equipment packages. Can I sell them back at full or half price?

You can sell back at full value, but should buy something's as replacements so you don't start the game with a huge lump sum.

Yeah I'd like to buy stuff that's more appropriate to the character.

I doubt it'll ever come into play mechanically, but Folk Hero allows for a set of artisan's tools. I'm not feeling any of the ones listed in the PHB so I put down basketweaver's tools. I hope that's okay!

Lilith, human Arcane Archer

The details vary in the telling, but no one will forget the day Lilith, the basketweaver who lives alone in a hut in the woods just outside Tirisfel, saved the lives of Joab, the guardsman, Molly, the washerwoman, and their little daughter Sara. By some accounts the great boar that charged out of the woods was as tall as a man. Some say it was as big as a house. Others say the beast wasn't a boar at all, but a demon with eyes like coals, and tusks like scimitars. What everyone agrees on is that Lilith emerged from the woods, her eyes aglow with eldritch power, to stand alone against the monster. She drew a great bow and felled the beast with two arrows. Lilith was lauded as a hero after that, though for a while people were a little scared of her. But these were people she'd known all her life, and saw at market on Saturdays when they came to buy her baskets. In time she fit in among them again. But now in these dark days the time has come for Lilith to take up her bow once more.

Someone who owes me: Not that I expect any repayment, but I suppose Joab and his family feel indebted to me.
Someone I owe: This would be the fey creature (who lives in the forest) who taught me my arcane archery. But if it should be one of the townsfolk then I can come up with something.

Evangeline "Angel", Human Paladin of the Crown.

Naught but an adolescent when the star fell, Evangeline's parents were taken by the shadows- she lost everything, and nearly died herself when the heroes saved her. They saw potential in her, and brought her to Tirisfel to be raised in training. Each Paladin was given a symbol to represent themselves. Her symbol was a Red Rose, for her beauty was stunning, her hair was "blessed by fire" being a flaming crimson. But don't mistake her beauty for weakness, as all Roses are guarded by thorns- thus representing her sword-arm and sharp wit, her ability to defend herself and the other flowers in the garden. As all Paladins are known as warriors of light, she goes by the nickname "Angel" as it is a condensed version of Evangeline anyway- she feels it also represents the type of person she wishes to be.
She has taken her Oath to the Crown- swearing to defend the precious lives that remain, promising to protect order against chaos, and to march forward with bravery. "The Rose Angel" is ready to fight and die to find the heroes who saved her all those years ago, but especially to save the lives who need her during these dark times.

Someone I owe: I owe my life, and more to Ser Claymore Merilion; he was both my foster father, and master knight of the order. He trained me, and raised me into the person I am today, and I am forever grateful for him.

Someone who owes me: Before I was to take my oath, like every Paladin, we have to undergo intense trials to prove our worth. One day, I saved a guardsmen from being attacked by a mischievous pack of goblins. He was to be hung over a fire, and cooked to a crisp if I didn't help him. His name is Astrik.

A quick note about the people who you owe/who owe you, I'm looking to add some NOCs around town using this, so I'd appreciate it if you don't use an already established character. So in one guys post he established Astrix the guard, so I don't want to see him turn up again. In the same line, the Heroes both have already been established and are no longer in the town (having disappeared), so could you create a new NPC in there place One guy? Perhaps an old knight who established the knightly order instead of the Heroes, who were not around for long enough to do that.
