As you step into the alleyway, you realis that the ambush is better prepared than you think and all three thugs can strike out before any of you can respond. Auskan, Xanxus and Haguk are all targeted as they are first into the alleyway. Both Xanxus and Haguk dodge the spear thrusts aimed at them, however Auskan takes the full force.

Haguk channels his inner rage and runs at the guy who threw a spear at him. He swings at him with an overhead swing.

Botchit the Thug bends in three as Haguk strikes him. He falls to the ground as dead as dead can be. A small spattering of blood coats Haguk's face.

Xanxus rushes one of the remaining, "We can kill them all and just speak with the dead unless they're smart..." he jeers rushing in with his shield to batter back his opponent while thrusting around it with his sword.

Xanxus smites the thug nearest him with consumate ease, causing a huge gash to open up in his side. He throws his head back to roar his approval then turns to see Blackstar's new magic armor, nodding his approval.
OOC:
Crits are like buses. You wait ages for one and then two come along at once.... 26 points of damage means Daudit is bloodied.

Auskan and Domitius to finish the round.

Auskan throws the bow to the side and dives into the combat, lashing out at his nearest foe with his spear.

"I'll see to it you taste your steel, even from the grave," sneers Auskan snarling from the previous attack on him.

Auskan strikes out with his spear but misses. It would appear these thugs have armour on under their clothes and the spear bounces off.

Domitius began chanting and upended his bag of bones. Under the force of his will, the bones pulled together into a four-legged creature with a snapping jaw and the hellwasp's stinger protruding from its forehead. It shook itself as fire erupted from its torso, wreathing it in flames. It charged at Haudit, even as black, crackling power arced overhead from its master at Daudit.

Just a reminder, if an enemy is equal to or less than 10hp, let me know as I'll finish him off as a quick action.

The minion takes 3pts damage due to its odd attack roll

Domitius and his minion overwhelm a the strongest looking thug, leaving him a bloodied pulp on the ground.

OK, so two thugs are dead. The remaining thug is down to exactly 10hp and he's up next. Does Domitius want to finish him?

Staring intently at the bloodied man, Domitius inhaled deeply and began to absorb the man's essence. He paused. Turning to the others, he said, "If any of you have any questions you'd like to ask this man, now would be a good time."

If no one wants to talk to him, then Domitius will finish him off.
