New Player

Hey Y'all, I am new here and new to online rpgs. I am incredibly excited to get started, I may need to get caught up to speed by some kind people once I start playing a game. I no longer live near the friends I usually game with and I have been itching to get back to the table. So, here I am. I am down to try any game truly, but I am most interested in story heavy medieval fantasy games. Excited to be here and get to know y'all!

Welcome charlie165! Glad to have you with us! Have you tried Play-by-Post before? If not, be ready, as it can be different from standard tabletop RPGs, but equally fulfilling. Any particular systems you're looking forward to playing or trying?

Hey! I haven't played play by post yet. I also have only played homebrews so far. Recently we've started using the Mutants and Masterminds system but I am a little lost on where to start on this site to be honest. Any suggestions?

I recommend keeping your eyes open on the Games Tavern for games you may want to check out, and head to My Games and set the LFG on the right hand side; it'll email you when a new game of that type is created. From there, it depends on the game. Plenty of new player friendly games come up, so I'm sure you'll get the opportunity quickly, and most of those GMs will help you get a character set up.
