Aeon peers at the shadowy figures, trying to determine if they are real, if they are related to the earlier shadow, and if they are causing any harm to the sleeping children.

Aeon Crow, you can tell that the shadows are exactly the same kind of creature as the one earlier, so they're real. Or at least, real enough. As far as you can tell, the other students are probably going through what you are, so they aren't necessarily hurt, discounting the possibility that the previous one exploding was what knocked them all out to start with.
Cammy, you're getting close to the source of the noise, when Omen comes around the corner and crashes into you, sending you both through the doors to the gym.
The gym is pretty much standard high school, really just a basketball court that gets used as a classroom a few times a day, and clearly it was during one of these classes that whatever it was happened. Every surface in the room is covered in a layer of ice, including the couple dozen students scattered around the room, unconscious save for two. One of them, a skinny freshman who doesn't look like the kind to take this class, is curled up on the bleachers, small sparks arcing off his skin. There doesn't look to be any ice anywhere near him. The other of the two you can't make out any features of, as they are in the middle of the court, frozen in a solid spike of ice.
What do you all do?

"Well this is definitely a Nova puberty moment right..." Void Fist finally pops up looking around.
"Um dude you okay? Just chi- Err... remain calm... how about you sit up and tell me your name." Void Fist states trying to calm the only one moving and trying to stay away from his sparky personality.
Void Fist motions at the rest of the frozen students and then motions outside. Hopefully everyone was still alive if they thawed them out.
"Soo anyone else hearing that? I mean I didn't make a fan fiction theme song for myself... Weird..." Void Fists states meandering along behind the rest of the group still together.

"Shit!" Omen shouts as she crashes into Cammy.
"Chameleon?" She murmurs, rubbing at her temple. She grunts a quick apology, and looks around at the odd state of the gymnasium. "What is going on?" She speaks aloud. Soon she looks to the two figures and calls out, "Hey! What's going on here?!"

Procyon, the whispers aren't as jarring to you as to the rest of your team. They almost feel like what it's like when your mentor is speaking through your psychic link.

Mimic closes his eyes as the creatures continue to whisper around him.
As the whispers continue, Mimic seems to get increasingly agitated. "Be quiet! He pushes his hands outward toward the shadows, attempting to push them back with a wall of light. This is probably the only time any of you have heard Mimic raise his voice to anything above monotone.

Obviously the frozen person doesn't react, being trapped in a block of ice. The sparking boy on the other hand, peeks out from his little huddle for just a moment before he recoils from you.
Procyon
You try to put up a psychic barrier to block out the whispers, but they push back, and with how many there are they get through before long. Take a powerful blow, roll +conditions marked.
Void Fist
Mimic
You send out a wave of flickering light on either side of you, pushing the shadows away. I'm counting that as you trying to directly engage a threat. Roll +Danger, minus two for your conditions.
