Four players is enough to get the game back underway. I will make my first post shortly. I will also look for a couple of new players. I prefer larger groups to smaller ones on play by post :). Anyway, welcome back to the game!

PeasOfCrab says:
A. I think Ronda actually gets an extra d6 on that critical hit due to Savage Attacks (double 2d6 + 1d6 from half-orc racial)
Good catch! Thanks! I've added another d6 to my post. Now I wish I'd punched the orc leader himself! But how could I resist pulling a Conan?! :-D

You totally didn't even need the extra d6. Very nice damage though. At least one pc is doing damage :P

@Tomas: Just wanted you to know, Serpentskull was supposed to be overwhelmed in 5 turns but as you heroicly pulled two of the orcs away from the group it has bought him an additional round.

Who says being a hero doesn't pay off?

Just a heads up that its my wife's birthday tomorrow so I don't expect to be able to post. Try to take your next turn before Monday :)

Ronda can't seem to decide which of her opponents to attack, so she just looks about while the fighring continues.
Yeah, sorry, had a crazy weekend at work. Will try not to miss my turn again moving forward! :-D

Orc Leader's attack against Herod - (1D20+5)

( 5 ) + 5 = 10
The orc leader should have had disadvantage on his attack against Herod. He missed anyway, but just a friendly reminder:
Quote:
Ancestral Protectors
Spectral warriors appear when you enter your rage. While you’re raging, the first creature you hit with an attack on your turn becomes the target of the warriors, which hinder its attacks. Until the start of your next turn, that target has disadvantage on any attack roll that isn’t against you, and when the target hits a creature other than you with an attack, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack. The effect on the target ends early if your rage ends.

Thanks Jabes. I'll work that into the narrative.

Given the sporadic nature of PBP, sometimes it's good to put that in with a reminder in OOC text.

Our GM may be all-powerful, but can't be expected to be all remembering.

Yeah definitely! It's easy enough as a player to forget your own PC's abilities, what more a DM that has to keep track of so much! So that was really as much a reminder for myself as for you, Arina.

And for the record, I really like your narrative style!

Thanks Peas and Jabes. I assure you, I never take corrections personally. We're all having fun here. I just want to be fair. If I make a mistake feel free to let me know. I am pretty experienced but that doesn't mean I'm always right. It might just mean I've been ruling incorrectly for ages lol.

Highlights of the fight for me so far have been Ronda for hitting with every single attack (or at least it feels like it) and killing the horse (lol) and Tomas for not only hitting with every attack but rolling really high damage too.

Haha, yeah. Tomas, for some reason, has (or perhaps now it's appropriate to say "had") really good luck rolling in your game of the several games I'm in
