I could be wrong, bit I don't think anyone has explicitly stated any intent to break the contract with Zaituc. Ivor has been conflicted but that's all interior monologue; no one has any idea how the thought of giving Zaituc's druid Scachan access to the girl turns his stomach.

IIRC none of the others are aware of Kray's promise to Rutcranna to not give the girl to her father.

Yeah, true. Come to think of it: with all that parasite infected Glaaki pawn blood, mixed with the fishy oils of Ulathi slobber and pus, that have all probably saturated Ivor from shoulder to crotch - he probably is developing a weird and dangerous case of VD.
