Hi everybody

I played AD&D three decades ago, but life intervened and I drifted away from gaming. However I kept an interest in the material, mostly through novels and video games. I recently started to browse rulebooks again, and was amazed by the diversity and quality of RPG games today. Would certainly like to experiment with D&D 5e and Call of Chtulhu. I would certainly be a newbie in both, but that's part of the fun, isn't it? When I learned about Gamers Plane on the RPG Academy website I was intrigued. I can actually remember a time when PbP actually required postage stamps... I figured the same spirit... and less licking would probably be involved in a online version. I look forward to getting to know you!

Play-by-post (web post, not mail post!) can be a great way to learn new systems, so I hope this helps kick you back into the world of RPGs!

Welcome Martin, Learning a system through PbP should be easy, since it moves at a much slower pace than In Real Life sessions yu have time to look things up as you need.
