Greetings all! My name is Jacob, my handle is Morrowlife, and I am excited but extremely inexperienced in this kooky world of Play by Post. I have found myself with some free time (however small it may be) and a longing to play DnD. I figured this idea of Play by Post would fit perfectly into my desires. RPGAcademy on Reddit led me here!
First, a little about myself. I am familiar with roleplay, both free form and table top. In my younger days I frequented forums and participated in thread roleplays, as well as forum wide roleplaying. I have played a few different editions of Dungeons and Dragons over the years (3.5, 4, and now I am intrigued with 5), as well as a small bit of Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Star Wars d20, and Dragon Age RPG. I also own the 13th Age handbook on PC, but have never played it. I enjoy deep character development, and attempt to provide interesting characters (and the occasional goofball) to games.
Somewhat unrelated, I enjoy video games and table top games as my primary hobby and means of entertainment. Truly, though, I simply love a good story. Be it the latest box office hit (Age of Ultron, y'all) or a good tale told between friends, stories are what I wake up excited for most in this world.
So, if you don't mind me being a little new to this format, I think we can all have a good time. Thanks for having me!
