@thatguy2 - Quick question, the 19 AC you have listed, is that including the shield? Other than that, he looks good at a quick glance. Throw some story in the notes about his retainers.

Jackalfolk - I'm OK with the race with the following changes:
Animal Senses - Only Investigation, Perception (sound-based), and Stealth. Deception and Performance have nothing to do with your sense of smell and hearing. It describes which senses, so perception I'll limit to sound-based perception.
Desert Is Your Home - This can be like the Goliath cold acclimation, but for extreme heat instead. In short, you automatically succeed on the Con saves required in excess heat.

Shadow Hunter - I'm OK with it, with the following changes/thoughts
Sneak Attack - Shadow Hunters have more eventual Sneak Attack dice than rogues and even just start off straight up stronger? Plus the ability to give themselves a nearly infallible ability to hide pretty effectively? Couple that with the ability to boost their ability to attack to gain a second and third attack, it seems a touch overpowered there. I'm inclined to set the Sneak Attack dice to the same as the rogue progression.
Breaking Darkness - Need a length of time that the bonus applies for. 1 turn, 1 minute, ???. I'm inclined to think that it's a "until the end of your next turn" kind of thing.
Shadow's Gift - We'll look at this when we get to that point (if we do).

Those changes are fine. I was thinking the Breaking Darkness was just 1 turn as well.

I'd be wary of anything coming from DanDwiki, a lot of it is just blatantly overpowered.

What level are we starting at?

Starting at level 1 for right now. We may have some "roll up higher level" stuff later.

That's part of the look-through that I will do for any homebrew is because of the notoriously out of whack stuff on dandwiki. Part of the spirit of this game is testing out the homebrew stuff we can find or make up. I'm not terribly concerned with 100% pure balance, but it shouldn't be stupidly out of control.

Yeah, I figure that way people can have some bench to work with, possibly working in multiple "classes". Test beds are fun!
