Hey Jabes, as I said, your character doesn't have to be in depth; feel free to use point buy or this method: Roll 4d6 drop lowest, 7 times, take the the best 6 results, assign them wherever you'd like. Again, this will be the only relevant and spoiler free post for you.

Hi all! Glad to be here! :-)

Is there any character class you guys prefer? I'm unsure of the current party makeup.

What material is allowed? PHB only? SCAG/EE? UA? Volo's? Homebrew?

Party makeup is currently Life Cleric, Monk, and Wizard.

I believe I restricted it to PHB only (with the updated ranger UA), so to remain fair, I'll keep it like that. I will say now, that your class probably will not matter for what I have planned.

Hey Dire, feel free to point buy, standard array, or roll 4d6 and drop lowest, 7 times, take the the best 6 results, assign them wherever you'd like. If you want to avoid LMoP spoilers, I would recommend only reading the latest game post and nothing else; it has no bearings for where we're going.

Would everyone be so disappointed if I bowed out of this game? I love your DMing Hyp but like you said it was only an introduction and you have done that. Silver.Hawk is doing great now. I have been wanting to play in a Star Wars game that actually goes somewhere, for a while now but have a lot going on her and would love to free up a game slot for myself.

No disappointment here. I will say though, this will not be your ordinary game, it probably won't be to time consuming; think of it as a going-away party where we see how bad (good?) we can trash this world.
