"Yes, let us use your rigged toys to decide." Elran says sarcastic before turning back to Solomon, pulling out his map "So where is this delivery taking place."
"Shit, I'll take a rigged game over no game any day of the week, least I got a chance to cheat my way anyway." Kairon grabs Elran's shoulder, twisting him towards him. "I know neither of us is perfect, but I ain't about to get played, dig? What makes you so damn qualified?"
"After what I've done for each of you in the past the least you can do is allow me to hold the package. We all benefit from this, so I'm not going to play you. Dig?"
Thyrias shrugs, and pockets his deck again. "See.. Thing is, Elran. People like us... We don't trust honest people much... See, people like me and Kairon here.. You allways know where you have us.. Honest people though? You never know when they turn sour.."
Then he turns around and throws his hands up. "Ah well. Have the thing. We'll see how well you're able to keep it." He gives Elran a sly grin.
Solomon stares at the group for this exchange. Decided? Good. If you plan on being successful, you cannot be divided on your task.
You must persevere through all things that will come at you. He points to an X on your map. That is where the meeting will take place. It should be close to a day and a half's journey. Be wary. There are bandits and other things out there.
"Sure thing, Old One, we got this. We'll get the thing where it's supposed to." He nods to Solomon, then gives Elran a cordial pat on the back. "We going?
"Ok, anybody need to take a leak before we go? Or need some stuff? Or shall we just see what hand fate deals us?" Thyrias smiles cockily to his newfound companions. "I vote we just roll with it." He waves his hat in a flourish towards the exit.
"My fate has always been stacked, no need to check it now. Might as well get moving, idle feet don't make any money." Kairon flashes a smile, and moves towards then exit.
