Mathis smashes open the shutters to reveal a room beyond, lit by a small electric lamp on a low table. Tea chests stuffed with clothes and things are piled around the room. On the far side of the room is a door and a staircase to the right leading up.

Mathis launches himself up the stairs, two at a time when the huge figure of Father Dubois blocks out what little light there is from upstairs, holding a shotgun, "THIS IS A HOUSE OF THE LORD!" he yells, "BEGONE DEMON!"

He's facing Mathis, but holding the gun side on, not yet aiming. You could get up the stairs and attack before fires, with a DEX check, if you want to take that risk, or run back down to safety.

Mathis will run up the stairs, reaching into his pocket for the alien stun gun, and zap the priest.

As Mathis is faster than the priest, before he can swing the gun on Mathis, out comes the potato like gun, Mathis jabs it into Dubois gut and fires. A blue arc of electricity courses through him, sending him back against the wall, dropping the shotgun and jerking in spasms.

Thank you, Clive says reach out a hand to shake the millworker's hand. He then goes back over to Bill. I don't know if we are going to find much...He got fired for coming in drunk one to many times.
