Most spirits wander because their bodies are not laid to rest. However, a spirit like Vazuk, he's taken on his own form purely because of his anguish. The only way he can be laid to rest is by physically destroying the specter.

Heartboiler, still trying to not be inappropriately bouncy and happy, walks up to the ghost while listening to it converse with Dustin. She wrings her hands togheter in happy anticipation of the tasks at hand, happy, but also with a slightly questioning look on her face. Excuse me for interrupting, but I was wondering what the reason of your wandering is? Perhaps we could also help you move on? With the priest keeping an eye on the catacombs after we've dealt with all the trouble here I'm sure you're not needed to stay, are you? Heartboiler smiles and shrugs, continuing her circling, letting out a soft giggle and whispering to Dustin when she passes him. The room looks so different if you look through him!

As for your weapons, I don't really know. That sword on the big one's back certainly looks like it would do the trick. Same with the short sword and dagger. He lets out a throaty chuckle as Heartboiler peppers him with questions. When the Drow invaded, I was slain. I reached an - call it an agreement - with the priesthood. I will serve throughout my undeath here, acting as usher and guard for the spirits of our fallen. I appreciate the offer, but this duty is proper for me and I have a long-term plan.

Udhask? Well, he went investigating in the Rockblight, never returned. Ever since the reclamation of the city, the svirfneblin have avoided the Rockblight. Elementals won't go there. Udhask believes we should be able to reclaim that area finally and was determined to find out more.

Mainly why the elementals seem to stay away and if we could muster a force to clean it out so we could go back living there.

aye lets to it then. It has been to long since the last time I preformed my sacred duties and if it will help this place regain some semblance of peace then I am up for the task. cemos packs eldriths things in his bag and gets ready to set off. what should we start with? I say finding the body of the lost gnome would be a good warm up. do you just want us to bring him back here? or give him final rights where we find him?

If you could return him to me here, that would be the best. Glyphic will ensure that he is given proper Svirfneblin rites. To get to the Rockblight, you need to head out the eastern passage of this place. There is a room where several valiant Svirfneblin stand guard over the Rockblight entrance. Speak to them to proceed further. Jadger says before slowly fading from view.

Rock Blight, name sounds foreboding. I wonder what would scare an elemental off like that.

Glyphic doesn't provide any extra information about Rockblight. However, he does seem to be extremely nervous about the area.

While the others get more information from Jadger Heartboiler seems to be in a, giggling, discussion with herself, alternating between looking at Jadger and looking at a rock nearby. You hear her giggle yes, he seems to have a good sense of humour. and noooo, it would be too rude.... When Jadger is gone she sighs, wishing she would've thrown the rock, but quickly smiles at the others, clapping her hands together.
Can we go now, yes? First on a hunt for the body of an investigator and then off to finding and slaying a mad ghost, right? Saving the best for last... Although we don't know what horrors we might find in Rocklight, sounds like it could be fun! While talking Heartboiler starts walking to the exit, ready to be out of the small catacombs.

When you head up out of the catacombs, Glyphic waves at you quickly as he goes about his work in the temple above. When you exit, you easily spot the pathway Jadger told you about and follow it the 100 or so feet into the next chamber. As you enter the cave, you can easily see that it is fortified with a number of barricades and a collection of eight svifneblin warriors with four cave badgers stand guard over the sealed door at the northern end of the chamber. Unlike the other areas under guard you've seen so far, there are no elementals on patrol here.
As you enter, a surly looking deep gnome walks up to you with a badger by his side. He holds a hand out and stops you briefly. You lot must be the adventurers that put down those two oozes yesterday. Your help was certainly appreciated as I understand it. What business do you have here today?
