Cemos finishes his morning prayers and makes his way to the table to sit with his friends.
well I have commissioned our new friend enzo for my armor and we are free to set out. I will need to return in three days to check the fitting but until then I feel like we should head back to the temple to help with the undead there. Cemos looks to the group and then the heartboiler.
ready to crack some skulls?

Dustin knows enough not to push the issue and takes the coins back.

He gives the bread and jelly a try.

Looking over at the dueregar he laughs, "Wow, when you put them down they stay down."

Heart, you certainly taught him a lesson, Bildaweer says while looking at the Duergar passed out cold in the corner. He then looks at Tappy. Ghostberry jelly? Never had that before. Delicious. My thanks. He then returns to his thinking about a cure for snoring . . . (if you cast sleep, I guess it really wouldn't make sense if you're passed out to even need a spell for snoring. Ahh - so much for fame) he says to himself. He takes a big bite and stares off into empty space. He snaps out of it and says Are we going to help the priest after breakfast? I'm rested. Heart, I'm sure you're ready to go. After you eat Cemos?

I will join you mentor, we told the priestess we would, and I will keep my word to her.

Seeing the duergar still unconscious in the corner Heartboiler looks at Tappy. When he wakes up you can do whatever you like with him, I want my rope back if you let him go, but you might want to keep him tied up until we're back so I can help escort him out. She then continues to stuf her face with fish, followed by the bread and ghostberry jelly. She nods at Cemos, swallowing a big bite before answering. Aobfius talked to me when I was taking my bath. Cloudstrike has a new cool trick and I can find out what it is by hitting someone. When I'm done eating I'll get my stuff and we can go!

You know if he shrinks, he might be able to get out of those ropes.

OOC:
That's a my bad on the description part. He was definitely normal when he got tied up. Their enlarge only lasts for a minute.
As you finish your morning routines and get yourselves set, you head back from whence you came, the singing stones area now silent. In a relatively short amount of time, you find yourselves back at the Ruby in the Rough. A tired-looking Glyphic meets you at the door.

Oh, welcome! I wasn't sure you'd actually show back up. Heard you had quite the evening over at the Mug last night. Good for you lot. I really appreciate the help. Where would you all like to start? Care to look in our catacombs? They are a bit tight for you, ma'am. But you may be able to glean some clue there that I've not had the training to spot! he says shaking your hands forcefully, the ma'am comment coming with a pointed look at Heartboiler.

Catacombs, alright ! Cemos you go first. Dustin then chuckles, Just kidding buddy.

Heartboiler looks at the man and huffs. I don't care how tight the space is, I'm going in. However, if I break through a wall or ceiling I'm not responsible for the damage. She get's Cloudstrike from her back, rather not getting it stuck or having trouble grabbing it when she needs it.
Sep 30, 2017 2:44 pm
aye the catacombs would be as good of a place to start as any

OOC:
when we get to the entrance of the catacombs I would like to preform Devine sense. Looking for any desecrated ground
Sep 30, 2017 2:48 pm
Cemos, could you light up your mace ? Dustin got his crossbow ready and followed the others.

Glyphic leads you into the temple and down a narrow spiraling staircase. For most of you, it's a tight fit, Heartboiler it's very tight for you. You feel relieved Cloudstrike is already in your hand, it's likely you wouldn't be able to draw it here.

As you proceed down the stairs, regular niches in the wall hold clumps of glowing fungus or moss providing a dull throbbing light. Onward and downward you proceed, deeper into the very bowels of the earth. After about ten minutes of constant walking, the stairs flatten out and end with a small vestibule, bordered on one side by an ornate adamantine door featuring elegant spirals and swirls and a glittering pattern of gems set into the surface. Glyphic fishes a long key out of his robes, and spins one large emerald up on a hidden swivel, revealing a large keyhole.

I'll let you in, but I must leave you here. I have other duties I must attend to. Please remember that not all ghosts are evil, and not all the living are pure. he says as he slips the key into the hole and twists, letting loose a series of heavy clunking tumblers. Withdrawing the key, he pushes and the doors swing open silently. He gestures into the space beyond.

When you are all in the catacombs, Glyphic will close the doors behind you, but not locking them.

Stretching in front of you is a shadowy room, with sarcophagi. Regularly spaced columns hold the ceiling at bay. They are set one every fifteen feet in every direction. This room is an easy 45 feet wide and 90 feet deep, dimly lit the entire way. You notice two large 10 foot wide passages on each side, and a golden inlaid door at the far end of the room across from you.
[ +- ] The room, you are in the middle of the southern wall.
Oct 1, 2017 8:12 pm
Cemos, you don't sense anything at the entrance.
Oct 1, 2017 8:30 pm
If Cemos doesn't light his mace he will see about possibly lighting a torch. The time in town let him get used to color again and he didnt want to go back to just black and white.
Oct 1, 2017 10:06 pm
Heartboiler starts to walk straight ahead, eyes moving from sarcophagus to sarcophagus, mumbling Come out, come out, wherever you are...
Oct 2, 2017 3:18 pm
Cemos draws his mace and lets the green bearded flame light up the room. heartboiler!?! Please be respectful in this place. We do not yet know if these undead have arisen due to some evil or nefarious act or if they simply need help crossing over to the other side. Let us not be threatening to anything until we understand more about what's going on here. Cemos kneels down to pray. After a moment he stands back up and says,
I sense no evil or good for that matter in this place. Let us investigate the room for clues. But I ask all to please be respectful of the dead and try not to disturbe anything you do not have to.

OOC:
