Chanler opens his mouth to reply to Qavez, but is interrupted by Iolgur's shout. "Ah, Shit." he mutters, falling into a headlong sprint towards the commotion.

The rumbling nose ends abruptly with an explosive snort and the cave falls silent as the group of adventurers catch up to Iolgur and Xed.

Xed peers into the darkness as she saunters into the cave. She sees the vague lumps of stalactites and stalagmites, and a large boulder protruding from a muddy pool. It smells atrocious in here.

"Do you see anything?.." Chanler calls down the entrance, trying to stay fairly quiet, just in case.

"Oh wait, I’ve got a torch somewhere..." Xed digs in her pack for a torch and tinderbox. Once she finds them, she’ll light it and take a closer look around, heading deeper into the cave.

Qavez spares a glance away from the cave to see if Chanler brought Iolgur's stuff, then returns his attention to Xed's disappearing torch.

Several things happen simultaneously: Xalvador returns with the gear, Chanler calls into the cave, Xed bends down to reach into her bag, and an arrow slices the air where her head had just been.
Meanwhile, the 'boulder' in the muddy pool turns to look at her and lets out a bellow.

Iolgur's heart starts pumping, and he lets an audible sigh. Raising a sword in front of him dwarf bellows a battle cry: "For Beradar!"
