Week of Remembrance

chin up everybody we are getting closer with every step. nornin seems to slowly be getting further and further behind.

All - Preta gracefully gallops ahead darting between trees with the jostling gnome on her back. It is not long before you catch the last glimpses of sunlight dancing off her blue scales. You easily move through the trees as Bacta remembers the path Malphas took before.

Eldobik - Trees whip by as all you can really do is hold on. After nearly an hour she slows and begins sniffing around. Slowly she breaks through the tree line. Before you is a clearing; the ground is scorched and a layer of ash covers the dirt. A few places you see mounds of ash, and you think you can make out scattered fragments of the airship. On the far side of the clearing several dozen trees are splintered or toppled; even from here you can make out large gashes in the wood. A glimmer blinds you, for a second, you spot the source of the reflection; two longswords one blade embedded in the ground.

Eldobik - After brushing away a thin coat of ash on the prone sword, they both look like plain steel swords, no identifying markers or engravings. The one sword that is sticking out of the ground, you can tell by the way it is angled, that it most likely fell there and was not deliberate. Preta, sniffing around the area gives you a strange look, one eye half closed for a moment, she stands frozen with a pained expression. Then, she lets out a sneeze spraying you with mucus. Seems she sniffed up some of the ash that is covering the area. From the explosion, you see a clear crystal that was uncovered, just as the ash settles back coating it once again.

Eldobik - You don't see any prints nearby that have disturbed the ash other than your own. The dragon gently takes the food and swallows it whole with a loud, Slurp. As soon as you are ready and seated Preta takes off back the way you came. The uncomfortable thrashing ride is shorter this time; nearly three quarters of an hour and she slows to a trot. You can see the rest of the party just ahead of you.

All - After some time trudging through the forest, Lysander looks off into the trees, Preta's back. Minutes later the blue scaled dragon slips into view with Eldobik seated on her back.

Merlins slippers. I belive what youre holding there is a moon, no wait, star, no that not right either. Oooooooh i know what it is i just can’t recall the name of it. Nornin pulls out a ne klace from under his robes. plopp always knows things. Nornin says something into the amulet and seconds later a small octopuss apears in midair behind Nornin. The octopus hits the ground with a wet plopp andNornin turn around ah, there you are. Always showing up behind me. Uhm you remember what that is right ? Nornin lift up the octopus and points to the littleman holding a crystal.

Marcus - It appears to be an average gem.

All - Plopp raises two tentacles wiggling them and with a, blurp he inks in Nornin's hands. Lysander sighs, First he summons specters, now crazed demons, All Father watch over us. Tixhin hurries over with a vial catching some of the ink, fascinating, do you think it could be dissected? Pulling an inspection loupe he inspects the gem. hm... sunstone... looks used.

SUNSTONE!! That is what it is called. Nornin says wiping the ink off his face with his empty hand. See, plopp always knows. Nornin throws plopp into the air and whisphers to the amulet again before dropping it under his robes again. Plopp seems to disapear between the tree branches and no one sees or hears him hitting the ground. Rabbits. nornin looks up into the trees for a while.

All - Tixhin scurrying up onto Preta's back, Not sure, could be some alchemical or spell component, if you believe in that kind of thing. Once he is on board the dragon, she proceeds into the forest.
