Armstrong—Can I count on you to tell me the trut

"Bring the truth, no matter how bad it hurts."
OOC:
Simple man, simple question. To everybody: Can I count on you to tell me the truth?

Also (nothing to do with Hx), if your character would be interested to come on the show at some point, just write that down here, and maybe say what they would want to bring, like, dunno, advice, stories, discoveries, conspiracy theories, karaoke, etc. Just so we know for the future.

Lattice is honest, but cagey. You can't count on her telling you everything. Maybe she's just holding back to gather leverage when she needs favours doing, or maybe you've called the thunder down at someone she'd rather keep sweet. She's not saying.

Lattice brings you CDs and vinyl records occasionally. She'd bring more but takes a while to find ones that aren't destroyed or duplicates of what you already have. Maintenance is something she's also fine helping out with, and is probably experienced in keeping your radio transmitter in repair. She won't speak on the radio, but passes on information and reports, requests and Want To Buy/Sell/Looking For Group requests from the scavs who use a block of time on your station like some post apocalyptic version of craigslist.

Goldaline once told you she was your biggest fan. Before crawling out of whatever hole she is been hiding in, Armstrong's show was her only connection to the outside world. She even brought out her prized hand-held radio to show it off to you. Lately she's been avoiding you, turning away whenever you cross paths.
OOC:
Goldaline would have gladly gone on the radio up until recently. Something has her spooked. Looks like you might have missed your chance.

OOC:
If Armstong lives within Atlas Terminal or has some sort of deal with Canary, then you'll get the truth. If you're not, then Canary would dodge hard questions with jokes or just might not even answer. Too many hard questions would result someone getting a face-full of concrete.

Canary does like the radio though, and he'd be all for coming in for something lighthearted. Would even pay to advertise his mail/cargo/people shipping service.

Maybe not "count on", but Pops isn't a liar and does listen to the show to keep an ear out for business opportunities. Has Armstrong been in Pops Place? Are they acquainted?

Atlas Terminal sounds good, yeah. I've chosen the station to be in a well-known location, so that might just fit the bill. Now, it does have it's own little security force (they even live inside the station). Are/were they part of Canary's people, or did they come from some place else?

I'm sure they know each other. Pop's Place sounds like the perfect place for Armstrong to hang around after he's done with the show (or before he starts). The man loves coffee, but there just ain't a lot of coffee going around nowadays. He also hates all the noise and people behaving like animals. Pretty sure he visits frequently.
Do either of you two have a sponsorship deal with Armstrong? He's fine with advertising as long as it's something he believes in.

If he says anything, then sure, twilight doesn't say much he doesn't want to and if its worth enough for him to make an opinion known hes pretty direct.

You'd have your own security force, since the gang often gets pulled away to do various tasks. It would be cool if your security force had some retired Blood Sparrows, like someone who used to work the radios or just a regular soldiers. That way you could still have ties back to the gang, but won't be chained to it.

As for sponsorship deals, Canary just wants Atlas Terminal to be well advertised. He doesn't want to be the king of the world, but he wants to be the guy that owns most of the roads and horses--you feel me?

Canary also enjoys spreading his reputation and being a celebrity, so he'd be cool with just telling stories on air. When the holding runs into hard times he also likes to tell everyone what he's doing to fix their problems in an effort to lessen the madness

Sounds pretty good to me. Most of the securities are old Blood Sparrows then, while the rest came from all over the place. Also like the stuff about getting Canary on the air every once in a while.

OOC:
Sure! Just pick what area of the tower you want your place to be. Since the population is both decadent and filthy, I'm thinking that the wealthier groups are higher while the poor ones are lower.

'Killer' is a straight shooter, in a lot of ways, so, yeah, pretty much. He doesn't bandy about the truth, but he doesn't want to hurt anyone. He watches his language these days, though, and he's careful about violence anywhere near his little daughter, Toni. He probably hasn't crossed paths with Armstrong personally, but they might have been introduced by Toni.

" 'When I'm deep inside of me, don't be too concerned. I won't ask for nothin' while I'm gone. But when I want sincerity. Tell me where else can I turn cause you're the one that I depend upon' sang BJ. Makes you think how different things are back in the golden age."
OOC:

Honesty is a weird subject when you can read minds from time to time. Because of this, Eddie is honest to a point and only would lie through omission. He would give in when pressed though.

I'm familiar with PbtA games but I haven't played AW itself so I went with moolah / barter as his motivation. Eddie collects paper paraphernalia and personal care products. He could be guest as a pseudo connoisseur / reverse hipster.

Might make a good Skinner too if he ever finds life untenable!

As far as Highlights go, I'll have Goldaline (at Hx+2) pick the stat.

Also renamed one of the NPCs in my security force to reflect their connection to Canary's people. She's now called Lark.
