Automatic Thread Subscription

Is there currently a way to automatically subscribe to a thread you create or post in? I sometimes forget to click the Subscribe link for a thread...

Let's make that an option in your profile, yes? I do not want to subscribe to any thread. I get enough emails that I don't need anymore.

I can add that to the post option (quick reply automatically subscribes, advanced post gives option). I can add an option in the profile for the default state.
