House Rule: Retro and Group Initiative

Checks for Initiative are made with 1d10 instead of 1d20.
All Modifiers apply normally. See below for details on Modifiers for Group Initiative.

Expansion Notes: Group Initiative
For the sake of simplicity in the venue of PDP, most encounters will use Group Initiative:

PCs roll 1d10 and add the average Modifier of all combat participants.
Latest Initiative Modifiers for PCs are (usually) compiled here.

Enemies roll 1d10 adding Modifier (with similar average if necessary).
The group who wins the comparison takes first Action. Within the group, Actions are allowed in any order as they are posted.

Rounds are broken into two parts.

The first is the Top of the Round (TR), during which winners of the Group Initiative comparison act.

The second is the Bottom of the Round (BR), during which the losers of the Group Initiative comparison act.

The pattern continues each round, moving from TR to BR, until the encounter ends or the DM directs otherwise because of circumstance.
