My name is Ryan, and I am new to the RPG world. Only experience I have is listening to DND 5e podcasts so I know that splitting the party is always a great idea and to never do any checks.

Currently working on building a cleric and hoping I don't screw it up but am looking forward to jumping in and keeping people alive!

Welcome Falcner! A fair number of people have come to Gamers' Plane with no experience wanting to learn, so don't fret, you're among friends. Do bare in mind that Play-by-Post is slower than a live game, and that can get frustrating, specially for someone without experience. But if you can get past that, its a really rich experience.
