It's cool. How many games do you have going on?
Also, I know there's an "absences" sub-forum, but I don't check it and doubt everyone else does. I'm going on vacation March 4-11. I'll still have my phone to get emails and post, but I'm sure there will be a delay.

This trip has been amazing yet torture. Almost no signal since we've been in mountains and desert most of the time until we find a city, a hotel, and crash until early morning and do it again.
If you're waiting for me, NPC me because I don't know when I'll have time to post until at least Monday evening.

So this game seems to have a pretty decent number of people who want to join it, and I think I can try running another game again... so who here is still around and up for playing. We didn’t get far but I plan to do a hard reset as I don’t really recall what I was trying to do with these characters. You can choose to go with the same characters again if you want, I do r mind...

I'd be down to pick this back up as the same character.

Are we doing rolls or point buy for attributes?

I prefer point by but if you want to roll then feel free to do so here. Though none of that gag roll shenanigans where you take oh if you don’t like the result...

I'll take the risk and roll 4d6, drop lowest.

That makes for an interesting character, for sure.

4d6 - ( 3, 1, 5, 1 ) = 10 - 1 = 9

4d6 - ( 2, 1, 6, 6 ) = 15 - 1 = 14

4d6 - ( 3, 2, 2, 2 ) = 9 - 2 = 7

4d6 - ( 5, 2, 6, 6 ) = 19 - 2 = 17

4d6 - ( 2, 4, 6, 3 ) = 15 - 2 = 13

4d6 - ( 4, 6, 2, 6 ) = 18 - 2 = 16

My guy is a half-orc barbarian named Elias, taking the Peace Domain.

Slight addendum to this, half-orcs aren’t a thing in the setting, but there is a full orc race in the book.

Yes there are indeed no half orcs in setting...

Are the orcs not rape-y like in the Forgotten Realms or Golarion (or pretty much most other campaign settings)?

They are not. Also half-breeds in general just aren’t a thing.

Alright, I changed him to variant human barbarian of the Peace Domain.

Yeah, the orcs of the setting are more like military city states then ravaging horde. And Aram has pointed out (quite correctly) if they are different spices they should not be able to interbreed.

I updated my character to fit more closely with the campaign setting. He will be a variant human (assuming you are okay with the variant model; otherwise a regular human works for the concept, too) Barbarian, godling of of the Peace Domain. He will still be an urban bounty hunter.

Is my character still okay, DM? Variant human rogue, still the god of luck.
