I suck at introductions

I'm Hob, I've been a tabletop gamer since I was a wee lad. I cut my teeth on AD&D 2nd, Cyberpunk 2020, and Robotech (Palladium). I've been in out and out of various home games, and run a few as well. I've recently picked up a regular group that I GM for on a weekly-ish basis which has been a great learning experience.

I think I'm here to try my hand at being a player again, but what do I know?

Welcome Hob_is_God! Glad to have you with us. Specially if you don't have time for a second game live, PbP can be great. Slower, sure, but it really lets you develop your character as you play, which can get pretty awesome.
