As Weiryn studies the runic circle before him, he remarks to Roland, "You know, it's sad in a way, Brother Roland. The werewolves that ambushed us did so in an effort to fortify their sick mates with fresh meat, so that they could battle whatever disease that ravaged them so. The knowledge that the cure to their ailment was within reach the whole time they made their den in these ruins... It has a certain irony to it."

Veroth, his black wings wrapped around him, considers the new person before them. He waves away the rings of protection, indicating a similar one on his own finger that emerges from his feathers.

Weiryn studies the runes. He identifies them as runes of summoning and containment, and something else... It's as if whatever is trapped inside can still move, of sort, probably between this circle and other similar, yet undiscovered ones. Despite their great age, they are still in perfect working order, a testament to the power of whichever wizard must have crafted them in some bygone age...

Weiryn's sentence trails off as he realizes what exactly he's looking at. The skill at which the spells were wondering together has him fascinated.

I suppose it isn't too far off yours; where you find your strengths through a God, I find mine through self-reflection and strict guides.
That is the only way you should think of it, Child of Sarenrae. Your mind is the most important thing you have, do everything in your power to protect it. You will find no objection from me in your pursuit to be closer to your God.

Durgrim walks over to the ones studying the circle, giving Ryjo a polite nod, not quite sure what to make of the newcommer. He squints at the circle. "Aye. Doesn't make much sense ta me." Frowning, he adds. "Say, there be to circles or one? Could one 'ave been made to halt the other?"

Such an entity would need to have a way to move from place to place with its wizard "master", yet also a way to be contained so it could not leave the circle once it arrived. Have any of you seen anything in this circle? From what I can tell, it is still active..."

Darren looks embarrassed by his blunder, hanging his head low, "You have my apologies for my mistake. I saw herein here with these wolves and I suppose I just assumed she was their ally. It might be best if I leave the room if she is encountered again."
