It's normal for things to slow down at the weekends around here. Most people find it harder to take the time to post due to family commitments, etc.

I've never actually played as a Paladin before, I'm more of a Rogue/Warlock kinda guy. My best hitty-hitty character so far has been a monk. This should be a fun change of pace.

Can you brush up on the description of places and people? Things like topography, landmarks, or what the exalted people look like and how they behave (or how people think they behave).

Is this an Evil campaign? Is genocide on the table? How dark are we going?

What are you looking for in a player? What motivates you as a Dungeon Master?

This isn’t necessarily an evil campaign. I wanted neutral characters because I wanted the option of PCs to more or less choose their side eventually. They aren’t evil, they just happen to be lucky enough to be the right race at the right time. Genocide is on the table, because ultimately that is the real goal of any tyrant, although perhaps it’s not what your group will come to realize is best. I tend to stay gray as opposed to dark or light, I try to mix in some comedic effects so as to not be too terribly dark. I have a map drawn up, I’m just trying to figure out how to scan it and upload it at the moment. As far as how the exalted look and act, that’s definitely more of an in-game thing for me because different people may have seen or heard different things based upon their personal experience and how they were raised.

I'm going to go ahead and start with the three that are ready and the others can join later.

Bonjoure, Upon the approval of the character and the likes, would someone kindly fill me in. i've quickly skimmed the posts and i gathered the the King's elite are currently retreving an item. In a non lit tunnel. does that sound about right?

I’m new as well...we have entered a mine to retrieve ore so an item can be made for the king. In the mine there has been a cave in and aome of the miners are trapped but apparently not in any immediate danger. At least no one seems too stressed about it.

That's about the gist. We were assembled as a group and during our procession here, Eris (I think was the name) got very upset at any slight delay, going so far as to chastise the group when we opted to take an extra few minutes to deal with the aftermath of an attack. Hence Edwin's insistence on speed dealing with this.

As we made our way here, other partymates fell off, Edwin is now the only one left from the initial group coming into town.
