@Guille other than the bluish tinge to the amulet, you don't see or know anything about this blade.
@Orrin while examining it closely, you see a faded script on the back that you do not recognize. You can't recall any information about an amulet like this.
The amulets are hemp rope attached to a wooden circle. It has a bluish tint to it, that seems unnatural.

Kozma would fasten this locket around his off hand wrist. So some magical wooden circle thing is gonna help us?

This ghost of the mountain or whatever seems to think it will. At best, it helps and we come out stronger. At worst, we die and none of this matters anymore. Edwin says, with a smile. So no harm in trying it.

Well either the ghost will bring us to what we need to lay to rest or these "magic" items will kills us. Either way I haven't made enough renown to die like this yet. Kozma scratches at the amulet on his arm. Either way, what ever we do we should do it quickly!
