Valates says:
"You’re fucked, Mercon!" The Korvaran mercenary's heavy voice carries clearly across the calm morning waters of the river. "I’ll send your head to Devil Hade."
Kray called back as he approached the first boarders. "You should send someone able to take it then!" Kray drew Serpent's Judgement as he leisurely approached Valates' men. "Or perhaps you'll join us on deck once you've finished pissing yourself!"

As his words carry across the din, Kray strolls into the fray, shield almost lazily at the ready. It was plain to see that the man was far too comfortable around death.

Dice to attack nearest HR's, choosing new targets when they drop. Persuasion to goad Valates to battle. Bonus action to Rage.

Kray
R1

Assuming Kray wins Initiative. I think by the numbers it is automatic since Opponent Initiative is 6.
Attack 1 Miss
Attack 2 Hit

Kray steps forward and strikes downward at the first opponent. The Heshbaan raider is able to block the blow with his shield, but is unable to react quickly enough to Kray's follow-through strike. Rattling his Otessite blade off of the shield then back around in a looping arc, Kray slices deep into his opponent's shoulder and chest.

The first Heshbaan boarder drops to the ground, blood pouring from the fatal wound.

Result of Persuasion attempt TBD.

Jabes, X,
I'll leave this round where it is for the rest of the day. If no Action from y'all, I'm going to move to NPC actions tomorrow morning early. Valates got called out by Kray, so he and the raiders won't wait much longer.

Ivor already has Initiative, so he has the option to take Action now.
Thorn needs to roll to see. Higher than 6 means Thorn can Act before any opponents.

A veteran of countless waterborne battles, having been on both the giving and the receiving end of a ramming maneuver, Ivor expertly rides out the impact of the collision. He eyes the Heshbaan boarding party....they're about to wish they hadn't set foot on this boat! Striding forward abreast of Kray, Ivor snags the nearest raider in his net and thrusts his trident savagely at the man. Blood spurts as the weapon's tines sink into chest, neck, and eye-socket.

Net Attack Hit
Trident Attack Hit

Ivor expertly catches one of the raiders with his net, just after the swarthy Heshbaan lands on the deck. Without delay, Ivor's trident of unknown origin slides forward, all three pronged barbs puncturing into the captured man's chest.

Ivor gives another strong push and shifts the impaled victim over the low side rails even as his strength is failing him. The raider topples into the river, holding onto his shield but dropping his javelins rattling all about as they bang against the outer hull of the boat on the way down.

Ivor snatches his net back to his side as the dead man's weight slides out from it. He gives the net a strong shake, flinging loose a javelin that was still caught within it.
OOC:
Yo, Jabes. Awesome music. I let that play while I was writing the entry. haha

Reaction: Attack via Sentinel, Hit

Ivor sees the Heshbaan attacking Kray leave a small opening in his guard. The ex-gladiator quickly exploits, extending the trident fully in one hand, stabbing the raider in the neck, killing him.
Dec 13, 2017 3:39 pm
Thorn is nearly rocked off his feet by the incoming ship. He steadies himself against the rail.
Maeriks says:
Maeriks calls out "Thorn! Thorn!" He lets the jevelin fly at one of the Heshbaan mercenaries preparing to throw javelins of their own. He draws a second javelin and archs back. "I Heshbaan waiting for this!" and throws the second. Seeing the spearmen about to board, he takes a half step back and drops his halberd into place, set to receive the assault.
Thorn lets out a loud chuckle and lets go of the rail.

"Very good, Big Man! Wit like that has certainly attracted all Valates!"

He slowly draws Urdav's blade as the mercenaries board and begin their charge. A javelin is hurled from the Korvaran longship, straight at Thorn. He lets go of the greatsword with one hand and uses the rail to pull himself out of the way, the javelin just missing him. He frowns in the general direction from which it was thrown.

Just as he is righting himself once more, a Myrmidons charges into him, shield raised, attempting to leave him prone. Thorn braces himself, hip against the rail, and stops the assailant short. A spear darts out from behind the shield, but Thorn has already whirled around to the man's right, the greatsword arcing down to slash at exposed flesh.
