Maeriks
R1

Maeriks holds behind the front line but effectively uses the long reach of his long-poled glaive to slice and then stab a spider hybrid right after it was sliced by Elam's sword. The glaive bursts into the monster's belly, splitting it open. The fiend squeals and holds its swollen burst abdomen as it falls over. His fellows pay little mind and climb over him.

Attack 1 and 2 Hit SM3
OOC:
CB, I'm adjusting your series a little. In my interpretation, the Ready Action consumes a Reaction. That goes not just for Maeriks but all PCs/Allies in R1 because everyone got on line and did the Braveheart "HOOOOOLLLDDD!!!" while the SpiderDorks charged right into the blades.
But on the bright side maybe, I took the first 2 rolls you posted. They were both Hits. I left the Natural 1 Miss out.

Ahri and Iasu
R1

Ahri's quick blade slashes across the chest of one of the spider men as it exposes itself when it dodges Namtur's aggressive swing.

Attack with SA Hit SM12

Iasu puts an arrow in the harried fiend's neck just after. It jerks backwards, clawing at the shaft as it falls to its knees bleeding and gasping for its last few breaths.

Bryn
R1

Holding the strange pike blades given by Palla Ba, Bryn shadows behind Kray, looking for opportunistic openings against the spider man that Kray assaults.

Getting too close, Bryn moves within the arc of one of Kray's backswings. The curved Otessite blade knocks one of the cloudy iron weapons out of Bryn's hand. The cast iron knife hits hard on the stone floor. The sharpened tip snaps off as the weapon bounces on the floor, clattering away in the wild melee.

Trying to react quickly after the error, Bryn reengages. He dips low and jabs the spider horror in the hip, drawing blood with the alternate stabbing blade. The spider shrieks and its eyes widen and lock onto Bryn.

Attack 1: Miss, Critical Fail, special weapon malfunction
Attack 2: Hit, SA applied

Note: I'm formalizing this...
Ahri and Kray hold a torch each.
Elam held a lantern of rugged but technical design, made of brass and even has glass panels. But he passed it off to Akkeen when he drew his two short swords.
Akkeen was able to hold the lantern and still fire the crossbow (though he botched that big time)

These are the light sources for the PC/Ally group.
Right. Light, dungeon. So much for that shield.

J, is there an ETA we can get on the cube making contact with our current position?
Dec 1, 2018 4:18 pm
Fellas, we should consider the possibility, depending on jello ETA, that we may have to push through asap. Meaning disengages, opportunity attacks for the enemy, etc... tactical choice to bleed some so we dont get dissolved.

Again, depends on how much of an immediate threat that cube is. We may want to action surge out of this mess too, expedite the body count to push through.

Thorn
R1

The spider fiend struck by Bryn's white cast iron knife falters and is momentarily distracted. Thorn makes the monster pay for the mistake with its life. Urdav's heavy blade plows through the top of the grisly beast's skull, lopping off a slice of skull and brain, sending the lout crashing to the floor like a load of bricks.

But as Thorn tries to reset and engage with the hybrids moving around to his left, he loses his footing, slipping on one of the strange floor drain ledges on the floor. A pain fires through as his ankle twists. His sword swing is left wild and off course.

In a frenzied burst of leaping and groping, the arachnid-like dregs try to grab onto their deadly enemies and climb on top of them!
