As you reenter the cave you come around the corner where the steps rise you are immediately smacked in the face with the stench of animals. The savage snarls and sound of rattling chains increase as threee wolves see you. Two are chained up just inside the opening. Each wolf's chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of a stalagmite. As you look past the animals you notice the cave narrow to a steep fissure at the far end of the chamber.

I approach the wolves, just out of range of their chains. Easy there, children. I brought you a snack. I toss the goblin head I have to them.

Sariel doesn't respond to Amaris's humorous comment. She steps wide around the wolves and does a quick exploration of the room, looking for further exits and secrets.

At the far end of the room where it narrows you observe a fissure in the east wall that leads to a natural chimney. As you get closer you find a pile of rubbish At the base of the fissure and you look up to see the chimney looks to extend about 30 feet up and you can make out an opening at the top.

Peeking around the corner, Leylin affirmed that wolves weren't attacking, nodded to Sariel and whispered:
"I'll scout a bit further along the stream. You all should probably that fissure while I'm doing that..."

Sariel has little interest in climbing up the fissure, at least not as plan a. She heads in Leylin's direction as he moves deeper up the stream.

As everyone is doing there thing, I sit just out of reach of the wolves, but close enough where I can pet one. Good babies. You don’t get fed much, do you?

The wolf doesn’t look up at you as it’s focusing on its meal but it does make a low growl. It’s as if it’s trying to say "look dude, we’re cool, but don’t touch me"
