I picked up another level of defensive stance. For 2 stress I can increase the difficulty by 2 of any melee attack against Bo.
What are the rules on the blade breaker?

I think I'll be holding on to mine until the next allotment.
As far as I can see per the sourcebook, the Blade Breaker doesn't have any specific rules, but it does have Defensive 2, Pierce 1, and Sunder Qualities.

Hey everyone,
So we've lost Tookie, and MoMo, and even before that things have been incredibly slow. I'd like you to honestly let me know your perspective. Have you lost interest in the game? Where the story is going? Your character? Is the attrition the biggest factor? Am I not giving you enough to go on?
We can go a bunch of different ways at this point. We can re-start where we are (my least favorite option, unless something else changes), reboot into a different storyline with the same characters, start completely over, or abandon the game.
Please let me know what you think. Totally open to criticism; I know I haven't put a lot of energy into the game lately either. Quite honestly I was quite bummed by the loss of Tsavo and then MoMo because their characters were so central.

I haven’t lost interest in the game, story or my character. I feel like I’m still getting started with him, and would love to see where he goes! Will he be able to leave his old life style behind in pursuit of something more "normal?" Or will he revert back to the only character he knows how to be when faced with challenges?
Is the attrition the biggest factor? Am I not giving you enough to go on?
I think the story has slowed down a bit, and I honestly sometimes feel like I’m not sure what I can do. Like right now in the story, we are descending down to the surface of a unknown planet. Being relatively new on the ship, I don’t know if I would jump on controls or terminal to do anything. Which puts me in a position where I don’t feel like I have much to do until we get down to the surface. I guess I could strike up more conversations with the others, since I'm new to the crew.
I also total understand the loss of a PC, as Tookie had to bow out of our other game as well. It's really too bad. :(

I’d like to staying with the current story, and continuing it to its end. (If I’m not mistaken, the current goals for the PCs are to help a guy get back his ship from pirates on an unknown planet.) Obviously if others cast more votes for something else, I’ll go along with that too. But I would like to keep playing, unless I’m the only one. :)

Not that it’s a criticism, but like most Play by Post games, sometimes we all seem to be waiting for each other to do something. Posting often (4-5 times a week), keeps things active and can prevent things from stagnating. If everyone only posts once a week, it can loose some narrative flavor for sure.

I'm still enjoying the game and would love to keep going. If you're really not feeling the current 'job' we're on then it may be best to either do a soft reboot or just a time jump past this to something else, depends on what you're thinking really. I'm just as happy to carry on with the current mission but I think it's important that you as the GM are feeling it. I've been a bit slower on my posting of late, usual summer issues and work headaches abound, so having a bit of a more relaxed pace to the game hasn't bothered me at all really but I will say I have held off posting some times when I feel like Doc's been hogging the spotlight a bit too much, I think moving forwards I'll just keep posting whenever I've the chance and just leave it to you to let me know if you want me to hold back a bit to let someone else come to the forefront of things.
