As posted in the Absences thread, since there is the possibility that some do not follow that forum:
[ +- ] Possible Absence due to hurricane
Normally I don't reveal my location online, but this is an unusual circumstance. Hurricane Lane has decided to visit, and while I ought to be safe, there's the possibility of power outages or other infrastructure damage that could affect my availability here. Uncertain when things will stabilize, so for the moment consider my participation to be limited or absent, at least through the weekend.

In other news, it looks like there's a pretty good chance Hyp and J will be rejoining us sometime in October. Let's keep our fingers crossed! :-)

Wow, I'm having a really tough time coming up with a vignette. The creative juices aren't flowing for me recently.

Pick an 80s movie (or segment) that is man vs. nature. Or, roll 1d6!
1. Empire Strikes Back with the falcon hiding in the cave that is actually a giant worm.
2. Groundhog day. We get stuck in a time loop.
3. Gremlins. We accidentally feed cute monsters after midnight and they get nasty.
4. Joe vs. The Volcano, but us instead of Joe
5. Never Cry Wolf. We learn to coexist with wolves (or something) .
6. Alive. We come across a crashed airship of a failed expedition.

Yeah I loved Naat and CancerMan's responses too! A little RP decoration on the side without taking over the story. Actually I've been thinking a lot on how to better set up or support other characters for nice RP moments. Any advice on that?

I'm SO rusty right now. Completely stumbling on understanding character management and remembering posting content best practices.
My time off was pretty cool. I read the entire series of "RAT GOD" comics. Needless to say it was great; completely understandable why a title like that is a worldwide best seller. It has something for everyone - the characters are just so relatable. Corben really nailed it on this one.
