Removing the choker from the man's neck, Kicsi will run her fingers over the embroidered dragon. Before tossing it over to Ewan. "What do you make of this?"

Having studied various aspects and histories of his...origin, Ewan has encountered draconic symbols before. He examines the embroidered dragon, trying to connect it to something familiar...

Examining it closely, Ewan still doesn't find anything special coming to mind regarding to the symbol.

"Something to do with Tiamat maybe?" Kicsi asks Ewan as she slowly moves through the doorway and into the next room (or hallway).

Kicsi is made speechless upon passing through the doorway into the next room. Room doesn't even really apply here as this space is one of the largest man-made structures she has ever seen. The ceilings are easily one hundred feet tall, and the room stretches in easily that many feet both to the east and north and south. The monk looks back behind herself to confirm the downward slant of the passage to allow such a space in the earth. Scattered throughout the cavern are large square stones standing anywhere from seven to twenty feet tall. Sconces, placed every ten feet along the perimeter as well as on most of the stones in the center, cast a warm inviting glow of light that somehow still feels uncomfortable despite the minimal amount of shadows present. Wind whistles through the cavern from what you think are air holes to the surface.

Not noticing any obvious exits to the room Kicsi looks back at Ewan and shrugs, "Only one way in from the looks of it." Placing her right hand on the wall she starts walking off in that direction sticking along the wall. "I'm going to check this way, you want to take the other and meet back her in a few minutes?"

Ewan lets out a low whistle and nods to Kicsi. He heads left, keeping an eye out for anything worth noticing.

After a few minutes of searching you both come to the conclusion that the place is quite empty but just as you were about to turn and walk back you hear the scraping of metal against stone in the southeastern corner of the room. You quickly shift your positions to peer in the direction of the sound and gaze to see a man dressed in black robes hiding behind one of the columns. His head is down and he appears to believe you have not seen him.

Kicsi will try and find some shadows to hide in while keeping an eye on the man. Once she's hidden (or believes that she is hidden) she'll cast a Minor Illusion cantrip to create an image of a large wolf to appear in front of the man (or as close as she can, depending on distance) to see how he reacts.

The image of the wolf appears in front of the robed man. He looks up and lets out a shriek and turns to run towards the entrance to the room from which you just came moments ago.
Oct 5, 2015 10:00 pm
"STOP HIM!" Kicsi yells as she runs to cut the man off at the entrance.
Oct 8, 2015 6:36 pm
Ewan will sprint towards the man as fast as he can and attempt to tackle him.

Ewan is quickly outpaced by the robbed man running from him but somehow luck is on his side; the robbed figure, panicked by Ewan's chase, bumps into one of the columns giving the Tiefling the second he needs to catch up. He leaps at the man and with a powerful bearhug, muscles him to the ground.
