"Last Post" link

When I'm viewing the list of forums on this page: https://gamersplane.com/forums/, the last post is listed like so:

I would like a button on the forum listing that lets me click from directly through to that last post. Thanks!

Well, this isn't a bug :p

Also, on every thread, there is a down arrow to the left of the date; that will take you to the last post in any thread.

Right, but you can't see that button from this page: https://gamersplane.com/forums/

And you can't see that button for subforums, either. For example, go here: https://gamersplane.com/forums/2329/ and try to directly get to the last post of the "Gameplay" forum.

As for your request, I see, you want the last post in a forum. I'll consider it, but right now, I'm not sure if I'll add it. I can see the use, but jumping to a random post in a potentially random forum? I'm not sure I see the value.

I find that my games bury the game threads in subforums, so I use the /forums page to check for new activity, but then I have to click a bunch of times (with page load times after every click) to finally get to the new post I want to read. I wanted to shortcut the process.

That's fair, but you could also end up in an ooc thread or something else. That's why the "Latest Posts" feature exists.

I bookmark the "Latest Posts" link (upper right on the /forums page) and use that whenever I want to refresh.

The Latest Posts page is my go-to on this site.

That's true for me as well, to the point that it could be nice to have a shortcut to it from the main tab.

I usually go to latest posts -> a post, read and reply -> back to latest posts -> next post and so on.
