Hello Everyone!

I've been trolling the forums for a few days now and figured it's time to finally introduce myself and say hello. I've been actively playing tabletop games for about five years or so and I recently discovered the world of play by post. I was directed here by the lovely people from GeeklyInc, RPG Academy, and some kind people on Twitter. I'm really looking forward to getting my feet wet in games and hopefully running my own. I think this will be a great experience and I can't wait to get started. ^_^

Welcome! What sort games are you into? Looking forward to playing anything in particular?

You're not on GeeklyInc yet but I do tend to write for them and some of the tabletop guys let me know of this glorious site.

Right now I'm really into Dungeons and Dragons and Numenera, at least those are the games I'm currently playing with a group of friends. I'm also a huge fan of Call of Cthulhu, both d20 and d100 systems.

As of right now I'm waiting on a friend to start a game on here to help get some experience. I believe it's going to be D&D but not entirely sure. Eventually I'll branch out into other systems for sure.

Ah, thanks for the clarifying! I'm glad to hear Gamers' Plane is getting known among other communities; still trying to figure out if we're actually growing outside actual users :)

You would be correct on that part. It sounds right up my alley though.

Can do. There could be a chance I try to cover something about my experience if I don't fail horribly at the whole thing lol.

Welcome Kelsenella! I was new to pbp a few months ago, as well. It turns out that it is a great way to try new things.

well good then! just remember alleys are dark and scary places that sometimes have secret doors or ambushes! be prepared ;D
