We could also use a few potions if you could spare them. And I'd like to visit the temple to pray.

"If you are as willing to help us as you say you are then we will do what we can to help you. Unfortunately we do not have any spare armor or potions at the moment, at least not that I am aware. Though we will keep an eye out for such."

Nighthill walks to the edge of the parapet and looks out. "I’d give anything to know what we’re up against and why. For that we are going to need prisoners. A commander, even a low ranking one would be best." He looks again over to Escobert the Red.

The dwarf takes his cue. "Leaving the keep through the front gate is out of the question. Too many are watching it and you would be attacked and overwhelmed as soon as you move away from the entrance. The easiest way out would be to repel down the back wall when the moon is covered by clouds. However, that will not allow for as easy a return trip. Especially if you are able to find and rescue any of the townspeople. For that we will need you to go through the old tunnel. The main purpose of the tunnel was to provide a secret means of collecting water from the stream during a siege. Since the keep had never been besieged before the tunnel has never been used. The gate is blocked and the locked and may be rusted to the point it can no longer be opened. But we must try. It is the best way to get people into the keep and safe."

Escobert removes a key from his key ring and extends his hand for someone to take it. "This should unlock the gate if it’s not in too bad a shape. Follow me now and I will lead you to the passage way."

"Before you go, take a look.". The Governor points out to a group of about a dozen cultist guards surrounding a purple robed human female. "That bitch there I think is the one leading the raid. I’d steer clear of her if I were you. She looks quite formidable. And anytime she has been spotted she is with a large force protecting her." The dwarf begins walking towards the steps down into the courtyard.

Harold grabs the key. Well, that passageway sounds like the best place for our getting in and out.

"I’m ready to go whenever the group is, but is there time to rest? I suspect not, but we have travelled a long way to reach here, have fought our way through heavy resistance and our spell casters have few spells left, I suspect, Sah."

Nighthill’s expression becomes more dour "You folk are of course under no obligation to help us butnIncan assure you that if action is not taken quickly then more and more of my peoples lives will be at risk by the dangers outside these walls.

"It is my opinion Sah that when we leave the walls the most important achievement would be to rescue your people. It would seem the tunnel is the best case. Maybe your dwarf can help us clear it?"

"I will take you down to the entrance, I trust that you can handle opening the gate at the other end?"
