Hi everyone, so looking at the party it looks like your band lol could use a roadie, so im going to be an outlander Goliath fighter. Does that work with this world hypco?

Yep, if you look at the map I posted here, Goliath's come from the Frost Mourn or the Shielding Bluffs.

Ok my character will be ready tomorrow. Just got to think about his story. Also hypco, since I get athletics as a Goliath and it's part of the outlander background I was thinking that I could just take another of the proficiencies alloted to the fighter.

Thanks Jabes

PG. 125 of the PHB: Customizing a Background.

"To customize a background, you can replace one feature with any other one, choose any two skills, and choose a total of two tool proficiencies or languages from the sample background."

Bragg grew up in the Clan of Katho-Laga in the Mountainous area of Frost Mourn. His childhood was pretty normal for a Goliath, with daily tests of strength and endurance. Bragg would go off by himself where he would train carrying immense boulders, and wrestling with bears. His renown was growing within the clan, and rumors started that perhaps he could eventually challenge Stredj for the leadership when he comes of age. Being the devious one Stredj decided to curb this idea, by selling off some of the younger Goliaths to mercenary groups, he promised them indomitable fighters who reinforce their ranks. This helped make Stredj popularity actually grow because he was able to supply his clan with a surplus of food and supplies, something that is difficult to find in the Frost Mourn. Bragg was sold to the Crossed Swords Mercenaries. There he learned how to fight with a sword and shield, and became a valued member of their group, but he was considered their property. After 6 years, and some good timing, Bragg was able to steal away into the night, where upon he lived off the land and remained distant from civilization. But food was becoming more scarce, and he knew that he needed to ply his trade again, so he freelanced as a sole mercenary. He would escort travelers and troupes as they travelled the lands, and even sometimes he would take a escort job through the Frost Mourn, but making sure to avoid any Goliath encampments as he believed that he would bring disgrace for deserting the Crossed Swords. Sometimes Bragg can be found sitting in a tavern drinking an ale or two, or sometimes you may run into him out in the wilds. If you choose to have him by your side, you will not regret that decision

Bragg has just finished escorting a group of priests and followers who were on a pilgrimage to Oceatree, he collected his payment and is now looking for a place to stay for the next couple of days

These are your available inns:
[ +- ] The Devil's Respite
[ +- ] The Oasis Crown
[ +- ] The Hilltop Pillow
Being an exotic race, your easiest fit would be the Respite.
