Micah stares at Duke in horror for a few seconds, then chuckles. "You really had me going there, for a second, man!" He pats Duke on back, shaking his head. "But, seriously, that's a good idea." He starts looking around, looking for people who are likely to get shot first and then tries to figure out which of them are packing.

Behind the curtain, Vinny sees a staging area for the auction. Various objects, mainly weapons, tech, and drugs, are arranged with small cards. A large man pushes a meaty hand in your face, saying something like "Fuck off" in the international language of the thug.

Vinny puts his hands up to show he is not a threat, My bad, bro. Wanted to see if that was velvet. He turns and saunters back to Duke and Micah, They're setting up the guns and stuff for the auction back there. Got at least one big dude on security. He didn't just shoot me. Probably bad to shoot customers

Micah blinks at Vinny's comment, unsure how to take it. Finally, he decides it was a joke and shakes his head with a small smile. "Nah, man, I appreciate the joke but, c'mon. This is an important moment. We can't afford to screw it up." He glances over at Duke, hoping the other man will back him up.

Micah pushes past the curtain into the storage room and immediate my gets ham-fisted backhand cold-cocked by a big bouncer bruiser. Sensing the attack, Micah turns with the blow, avoiding any real damage.

The storage room of the auction, where the items up for sale are held before being announced, is guard by someone. While you're not sure how tough these guard types have to be, given the possibly millions of Euros with of items back here, you're about to find out.
After backfiring Micah, the thug draws a gun (hand cannon) and says, "You're dead punk!" in a mangled accent.

Seth scans the room, looking for something that they can use to their advantage.
In the meantime, he steps forward, and puts his science kit on the counter in front of the thug with a slam, and says, "If this is how you treat all prospective customers, I do not think that your little auction will go well. As it is I see that you have nothing but baubles of mild oddness at best, so I do not see how our employer would want us to waste our time here. Our employer is very influential in these circles, so their endorsement would make or break your little cabal."
Seth says all of this with a sneer, pulling out a Fischer badge, polishing it and making sure that the thug cannot read the name of the company, only seeing the quality of the badge.
