Gu'lorg will follow along, also, but he would have traded the glass staff for the quarterstaff.

Mynok steps forward, "I will take the people out and insure their safety. For now my job is done. Perhaps we shall meet up again...perhaps not." Mynok begins walking towards the gesturing the townfolk to follow.

The woman puts both arms around her children and begins to follow Mynok. She pauses before reaching the door, "Thank you all again, so much. My family has nothing to offer you as a reward, but I may know of somewhere that a valuable heirloom is hidden.
When I was a young girl, my family and I fled from the town of Thundertree after undead creatures overran the place. My family had an herb and alchemy shop, inside which a case containing an emerald necklace was hidden beneath a section of storage shelves. We never dared return to retrieve it so it most likely is still there. The shop was in the southeast part of Thundertree. If you ever find yourselves near there it may be worth investigating."
With that she smiles and ushers her children out of the room.

Seron speaks up as well at this time, "I think I'm going to follow them back out to town as well, I"m feeling a little stuffy down here. Don't forget to check the crevasse before you leave, I found something beneath the northern bridge that I planned to go back to but I think its more important to see these folks to safety. Good luck friends I hope we cross paths again."

Seron follows the others out of the room.

— So... Shall we finish with what we started here? There should be some redbrands in barracks and near the exit that we barricaded. I adjust my shortsword and crossbow while talking. Not to mention those bugbears. We wouldn't want them left unchecked so close to the town without any militia.
Jul 3, 2018 9:32 am
— 'mam, you are in good hands with Mynok and Seron looking after you. I accompany them out of the prison and crypt, and let them go in the cave with our companions. As the light from their torches flickers away, I return to the remaining two others just to hear Leylin.

My face gets serious as I look at the map while adjusting my armor and the straps for my shield. Yeah, let's start by clearing those barracks and we'll go to the bugbears. I never liked those. The map shows a... passage(?) south of here directly to the eastern barracks. Should we start with those?
Jul 3, 2018 9:55 am
— If you don't mind the trap in the middle of said passage... I shrug.
Jul 3, 2018 12:04 pm
— Trap? Is there a way to disarm it or should we take another route? A quick glance at the map and ... maybe in the cave along the crevice? Or where you talking ab... I stop for a second, looking like I just realized something.

By Tiamat's toenails, we're doing it again! I'll follow your lead as to where to go, but let's get moving.

Waiting for Gu'lorg's reaction right now
Jul 3, 2018 3:21 pm
Let's take them! Ley, lead on. If you want, before you go through I can put a fog cloud to obscure your entry.

Gu'lorg chokes down on his quarterstaff, gripping it tightly.
Jul 4, 2018 9:35 am
— That would be best for escaping. Neither of us can see through the fog as well. If we're dealing with the group in the south-east barracks - you and Spark set an ambush at the path that leads to the crevice area and I lead them to you.
Jul 6, 2018 8:58 am
— Sounds good to me, an ambush always is an efficient way to get advantage. Let's go then. And by saying that, I start to move out of the room.
Jul 6, 2018 2:30 pm
Gu'lorg follows Spark, making sure that the glass staff is secure to his back and pulling out his quarterstaff for melee needs.

OOC:
Let talk positioning. Leylin intended for both Spark and Gu'lorg to hide in the are with crevice. After they are in position - he will sneak towards the barracks in the south-east and will attempt to lure redbrands towards the ambush.
Jul 7, 2018 1:46 pm
OOC:
from where are you sneaking? The southeastern most path?
Jul 7, 2018 2:34 pm
OOC:
Yep, not using the "one with a trap" :)
Jul 9, 2018 8:02 am
As we reach the corridor that goes from the crevice to the barracks I get in position, hidden on the southern side of the opening and ready to jump in.
— Right here looks like a good spot to ambush them. Whenever you're ready...

Also, I apologize for the slow down over the past several weeks...its summertime and I and vice president at an HVAC company so this is our busiest time of the year.
Jul 9, 2018 2:50 pm
Leylin, as you turn the corner and enter a hallway, you see a closed door at then end of the passage.
Jul 9, 2018 9:24 pm
OOC:
Dunno why I thought there was room on the other side of the corridor... Well there's a crevice ! Anyway, placement if fine for me.
Is there any boulder around that I could roll and drop on our enemies if we push them in the crevice?
Jul 10, 2018 1:24 am
OOC:
no boulders. Just crates of stuff in the northern area where the two secret doors were. Though they would not be too easy to manipulate.
