The moment that bugbear went down, some optimistic thoughts begun to appear in my head. With that, I quickly reload my crossbow and shoot at the Redbrand next to halfling's body. As the bolt finds its target, I start moving forward ...

The Redbrand drops as Leylin’s arrow cuts through its throat. A massive amount of blood pours out as he uselessly attempts to hold the blood back. He falls to his knees before collapsing on his back and dies.

Hal draws out his sword and whispers a few words in an odd crackling voice. As he speaks a green mist creeps from his mouth and wraps around his blade. Spins and swings at the bugbears leader.

The crude morningstar hits Elf alongside the head, knocking him unconscious. Mosk Spits on the still body on the ground before turning around and climbing back up the steps to see if any of the intruders remain standing. He immediately spots Leylin as he crests the top of the stairs.
