OOC:
Thanks guys I'll post later on, Josh gets to roll the d6 again because it explodes since it rolled the highest it can roll. You keep rolling if you hit another 6 on that.
Apr 17, 2018 3:15 am
OOC:
This might be a dumb question, but what do you mean by "exploding dice"?

Rolls

Reroll d6 - (1d6)

(2) = 2

Apr 17, 2018 4:22 am
OOC:
Anytime you roll maximum (20 on a d20, 10 on a d10, etc.) you get to roll it again and add it to your total.
Apr 17, 2018 8:06 am
OOC:
And if you keep rolling max, you keep rolling if I'm not mistaken.

OOC:
Oh, cool. Thanks!
Apr 17, 2018 5:52 pm
OOC:
Extra note: at the right of the dice roller there is a box that says Reroll Aces. Checking that box will automatically reroll any die that gets a max value. Then you don't have to comeback and roll again.

Each Gnome decides to take on our heroes in one on one combat Nukux and his gnome immediately blink out of the field, Nukux had always been quite excitable, perhaps his nerves were too much for him and his body naturally created a portal as a means to protect him, and his gnome counterpart got sucked in.

The gnomes that are left are organized but they aren't trained fighters so each one tries to take a stab at each of you with their daggers, testing the waters a bit. The one facing Ethan decides to speak as he does:
"Tinman I don't know what tricks you have up your sleeve, the little one taking our Sammy and disappearing was neat, but that just means one less mouth to feed, and all of our bellies are empty. You won't have a good go with this.

Rolls

Stab with dagger (against your character's guard) - (1d20, RA)

(6) = 6

Technically your statement is incorrect. I'm not a tinman, but... He rips the glove from his hand exposing a hand that's completely metallic. my arm on the other hand. He smiles at his pun as he lowers his arm at the gnome pointing a single finger at the gnome sending a gout of flame in his direction.
OOC:
Not sure how you'd like to work actions like this, should I need to justify how I'm shooting flame at the gnome aside from saying energy vs agility?

Rolls

Energy[Persistent Damage (Fire)] vs Agility - (1D20, 1D8, RA)

1D20 : (5) = 5

1D8 : (7) = 7

Apr 23, 2018 8:12 pm
OOC:
Oh shit sorry I was waiting for other people and didn't realize you asked a question. For this system if it's plausible or justifiable for your character to do something then we're good to go. If you were a kindergartner and said you threw a bus that's be harder to justify unless you had a superhero backstory or something.

Being taken by surprise and not having time to draw his rapier, Jack feels like he needs to resort to his spells. He'll do what feels will allow him to take out a gnome as fast as possible without killing it and will use his freeze spell on it.
[ +- ] Freeze
Wow, an ace! so a total of 33!

Crimson jack will then move and draw his rapier (Swift weapon so Advantage 2 on my next initiatives) and move behind the closest, un-frozen gnome to help his companions.

"I bet you wonder who is this crimson demon you met on such a pale night. Know that, though I have no grudge against you, you struck first and forced my hand. You shall henceforth remember the name Crimson Jack."

Rolls

Freeze! - (1d20, 1d10, RA)

1d20 : (18) = 18

1d10 : (105) = 15

Apr 24, 2018 12:26 am
Josh will look at the gnome facing him.. "There are days I hated the old man for taking to Boy Scouts... Then there are days like today..." he lightly grabs onto his bracelet "when I feel like shit will get pear-shaped in a hurry." As he grabs his bracelet, the metal clasps release and he is suddenly holding a Colt 1911 pistol. "So we are prepared." And takes a shot at the gnome in front of him
OOC:
I'll shoot if it's allowed. Also, I think I'm rolling all this correctly. If not, please let me know.
OOC:
Edit: Pretty sure I missed that fucker, big as shit. lol

Shani dodges the gnomes knife and her hand bursts into black flame. "Cruciamen!" Black flames burn in the air in front of her as she draws an arcane symbol with her right hand. With her left she reaches out to tag her assailant, completing the magical circuit that will lay the hex upon her enemy.
OOC:
Was going for Persistent Damage, so that is vs. Toughness.

Ethan's gnome: Being very wary of your enchantments your gnome is on edge and his fight or flight goes towards flight as he ducks your flame, his duck isn't complete and he takes 3 damage as his back begins to singe and smolder.

Crimson Jack: Your ice spell freezes your gnome solid and complete. Not only is your gnome out of the fight there's no hope for thawing without some form of divine intervention

Josh: your shot rings out into the air, a great warning shot if you meant it that way. Your gnome saw the barrel wasn't even pointed in his general direction and is somewhat confused, you see him talking to himself trying to figure what exactly just happened.

Shani: Your gnome sees you reaching toward him. He ducks backward so that your grasp misses him and then slaps the back of your hand to carry it further away from him, almost like a reverse high 5

Each of the remaining gnomes seem really out of their element THe look at each of you, each other, and their frozen friend. They all simultaneously shrug and aim at you again with their daggers.
OOC:
Let me know if I have your guard wrong please.
Damage against your guards:

Ethan (Best guess at guard based on character sheet 12)- Damage= 6
Crimson Jack-No damage, your gnome is frozen and the one you're flanking doesn't know about your presence
Joshua (Guard 12)- Damage=6
Shani (Guard 14) - Damage=4

Rolls

Stab with dagger (against your character's guard) - (1d20, RA)

(18) = 18

Josh, seriously wounded, moves his hand in a swift motion towards the gnome. "Fuck. you." Suddenly the asphalt rises up and surrounds the gnome in a solid cube of concrete.
OOC:
I may have went out of turn... If I did, please let this be what happens when it is my turn again.

Dragging her fingers through her own blood Shani uses it as an added component of her next spell, hoping to increase the potency of her spell. "Criciamen!" She lunges forward and tries to lay her curse on her target.
[ +- ] Shani's curse
OOC:
It seems we are waiting for Jack to act, but I figured I'd post just to get my action out there for the sake of keeping the scene going.

Or perhaps it's me we're waiting on? I don't want to go out of turn, also I'll take that damage if you want.
