Beginning of Urban Mystic

Jack, before stabbing the gnome in the back, strikes strikes a dramatic pose, wrapping his crimson cloak around himself.

"You have been struck by Crimson Jack, The great sell-sword of Los Angeles La Sombra!"

After incapacitating his gnome, Josh will take a second to get him back into fighting shape. With more hand waving and hushed words, he places a hand on his stab wound to close it and repair the damages.

Shani scrambles to pick up the dagger the gnome dropped and takes a defensive position waiting to see who attacks next. "Stand down and I'll release the curse, and maybe take a look at your wound."

Ethan grabs the knife in the gnomes hand and holds it. The metal of the blade becoming searingly red hot.

Jack strikes a pose worthy of a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

"You are in luck, for I, Crimson Jack, feel clement tonight. Gather your wounded, leave, and think about your life choices."

Josh looks over to the others and points a finger at the trapped gnome... "You want me to free this one too? 'Cause I'm perfectly fine leaving his ass like this. That little pigsticker you have fuckin' hurts."

"Agreed."

Josh looks back at the gnome, makes a few hand gestures, mutters something and the asphalt falls off the gnome and returns to the street.

"So, what can you tell us about the Urban Mystic?"

With the gnomes agreement to stand down, Shani steps forward and touches her middle finger to the target of her curse and utters the word "Consummavi." A black spectral energy "burns" off the gnome and he is no longer suffering from her magics.

A light clanking could be heard getting louder and louder from an ally way to the parties right. Ethan didn't seem bothered by the sound, but almost as soon as it was heard a cat shaped creature full of gears and springs comes bounding out of the shadows and up to Ethan, skittering to a stop almost falling to it's side as it slides to his shin. About time you show up. The creature was larger than a typical cat, it's head easily reaching Ethan's knee in height. It frantically looks to the gnomes eager for action, but realizes that things have settled at Ethan's words and takes a seat with a loud tink.

Looking at the mechanical cat which walked up to Ethan, Jack then asks Ethan.

"Your cat huh? I can understand why they refused to let it on the bus..."

"We have standing invitations to his house, that's why we're asking."

"His mark? Does it look like this?" Josh pulls out his notebook and draws the symbol on that was on the letters.

Why do you say that? He says asking about his cat and the bus. He tosses a shiny looking nut onto the ground which the cat quickly eats. Well this is a surprise. I thought it was a club, turns out it's a person.
