AC 21 (10+dex+con+shield) // Init: +3 (w/ adv.) // Speed: 40ft // Inpiration: 1/1
-HP: 180/180 (long rest)
-Hit dice: 12/12d12.....3/3d10 (up to 8 per long rest)
-Relentless Endurance: 1/1 (long rest)
-Rage: 4/5 (long rest)

-Second wind: 1/1 for 1d10+3 (short/long rest)
-Action surge: 1/1 (short/long rest)
I don't think Kuz as had the equivalent of a long rest yet, so I just gave him back his action surge and second wind (I assume he would be used to take it before any rests) that resets with a short rest
Rolls
second wind before rest - (1d10+3)
(9) + 3 = 12
Pulling up the hood of her cloak, Rolana signals the black bear to follow at a discreet distance and creeps silently out of the firelight, just far enough to allow her darkvision to give her a more detailed accounting of the shadowy creatures.
Boots of Elvenkind - While you wear these boots, your steps make no sound, regardless of the surface you are moving across. You also have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently.
Amulet of Health - Your Constitution score is 19 while you wear this Amulet. It has no effect on you if your Constitution score is already 19 or higher.
Reliable Talent - By 11th level, you have refined your chosen skills until they approach perfection. Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Rolls
Stealth check w/advantage - (1d20+7)
(5) + 7 = 12
Stealth check w/advantage - (1d20+7)
(15) + 7 = 22
Rolls
Perception - (1d20+6)
(4) + 6 = 10
Warcry (intimidation ?) - (1d20+7)
(8) + 7 = 15
Do you wish to move closer? If so, I'd like another stealth check.
@The main group:
The creatures back away from Kux's intimidating warcry. They don't seem to be threatening you. They move away from the party and vanish into the darkness. You still hear them but they seem to be moving to the east away from the village and towards a small forest.
What do you do?
@Tinwe:
Rolls
Stealth - (1d20+15, 1d20+15)
1d20+15 : (8) + 15 = 23
1d20+15 : (15) + 15 = 30
Perception - (1d20+15, 1d20+15)
1d20+15 : (13) + 15 = 28
1d20+15 : (15) + 15 = 30
She points in the direction that the creatures have fled. They don't seem interested in attacking us or the village, but I'd really like to know why they were snooping around that carcass. I wonder if someone is trying to retrieve that crystal.
Turning toward everyone who woke up after Kuz's warcry, she says, Shall we follow them into that forest, or finish our rest and move out in the morning as planned?
You creep along next to the creatures as silent and as un-noticable as moonlight. Taking a good look at the creatures you do indeed see the similarities described earlier. The creatures have bear-like bodies but the heads of owls and feathers mix with their fur. They are owlbears. Notorious for their temperamentality and opportunism you easily deduce that this family of owl bears was just looking for a quick and easy dinner in the form of a dead bulette. They pose absolutely no threat to you but they might have attacked some passing villagers if they came across them. Who knows what might have happened if you had keft with Tinwe and Ryesteo?
You get very close and study the creatures. While they all bear scars from combat none of them look unnatural like the scar on the head of the bulette you fought earlier.
To the group, she adds, Apologies for the the disturbance, friends. But you needn't trouble yourselves further. Enjoy your remaining rest time.
Returning to her previous station and her oh-so-relaxed-looking posture, Rolana looks over the dragonchess board and asks Aetoris, Whose move was it?
Rolls
Perception if needed - (1d20+6)
(10) + 6 = 16
1. There are four adult owl bears and three young chicks (cubs?)
2. You do not find any additional pockets empty of magic.
How do you intend to travel south? Horse, fly or transport via plants?
Good morning Oma Salie. Time to rouse. Make a quick tea, we move in less than an hour. he says, accustomed to waking her up with an immediate urgency if he had any hope of getting them moving in a timely fashion.
As she finishes a light breakfast and a cup of strong black tea, she asks, So how shall we be moving, then? If we are traveling by plants, we need to make arrangements for our mounts. I want to make sure Feyborn is well seen to. She's served me well on several occasions.
