Something Strange is Happening in the South...

"That sounds like an excellent plan Ryestro. I can maintain a telepathic bond so you will know I am still with you. Are you ready to depart?" The warlock reaches into her bag and produces a broom of flying.

When she is sure that the rest of the group have entered the fort proper, Pyrrha transforms hastily back into herself in the usual puff of smoke. She appears just across from Oma, brushing several stray feathers away and glancing around her frantically in case one of her father's men decides to investigate. "Thank you for staying behind, I just don't think I'm quite ready to waltz in there just yet. Anyways, seeing as you've got some time to reacquaint yourself with it..." Reaching around herself into a small pouch, she produces the crystal once more, and proffers it in both hands to the gnome.

Seeing Aetoris take charge with conviction, Kuz smiles. "You make good leader, take wise decision." Then Kuz turns to Rolana, "Leav'uk go ukee whaav kulknej saib do for avhem"

"I will not be with you entirely; I need to maintain some vigilance on my journey to Fort Naleth, in case there are other surprises on the way. I will maintain communication with my raven though and come in when I feel it important; if you have need of my input tell my raven and he will relay it to me."

The raven's eyes return back to a beady black as it takes off of Tinwë's shoulder and perches on Fah'lin's "Give me a direction and I will begin. I assume that mountain is priority?"

"Sounds good. The mountain it is. Approach the base, skirt the edge, move in from there. I'll give course correction as we go." Fah'lin looks back at the mountain then walks away, attempting to move out of sight if there is an observer in the castle before she turns invisible and takes flight.

As she passes over the wall she sends to the raven telepathically, "To the right, 15 degrees. You can fly faster than my broom, feel free to make so 'natural' maneuvers to maintain the ruse."

Aetoris does indeed follow along on the defense tour, being sure to jump in and ask questions to give Sola/Rolana a chance to do some observation as well.

Tinwë snaps to attention at Aetoris' commands. This man is a leader. I'm glad he's taking charge!

She turns to the task at hand, absently wiping at her shoulder as though Ryestro's raven had left her feeling dirty. "Well, Fah'lin, lets go have a look!" She dances into the air and heads towards the strange mountain. She sticks close to her friend, humming a an old court tune familiar to them both.

Pyrrha's ears almost seem to twitch reflexively at the approach of the stewards, and within a moment she slinks along the ground as a thoroughly inconspicuous ginger cat.

As she finds her headband of intellect and puts it on, Rolana murmurs a response to Kuz. Leav'uk hope kulknej saib do ukomeavhaumn for ourukelveuk, avoo. To Guor Thar, she says, Lead on, good sir.Oops, I only added my proficiency bonus. Should have included the INT bonus, which with the headband is +4.

Oma Salie smiles at Pyrrha, accepting the crystal. I don't want to get too attached just yet, first let those gentlemen have a look at it.
When Pyrrha changes into a cat Oma gets up, getting ready to welcome the men approaching them. Ah, Steward Razghul, Father Hammond and his clerics. My name is Oma Salie and I'm sorry Justin called you to the wrong place. I asked him to assemble you in a private room, but since we're all here now I assume we can just do this here. She holds up the crystal, slowly turning it in her hand. What you see here is a antimagic crystal we found in the head of a bulette that attacked a village less than a two days ride south of Celeria. I don't know if you've ever seen it before, but if you haven't and question it's authenticity, please feel free to try assault me with your magic, I won't mind. She smirks, raising her eyebrows high, daring anyone to actually try it. When attuned to this crystal you can use your magic like normal, but can't use most magical items, unfortunately. With some practice you could even find a way to penetrate the magical shields of others using a similar crystal. We expect this is what's being used to create that shield stoping you from magically reaching out to Southwatch. Take a look, tell me what you think and if you've seen it before? Following Rolana and Aetoris, Kuz hits the walls from time to time to see if it's sturdy enough...but probably finds nothing other than a few splinthers in his knuckles...
