Rolana rides to the nearest unoccupied tree and "tethers" her horse in a manner similar to Fah'lin's. Donning her Cloak of Elvenkind and switching her boots for the Slippers of Spider Climbing, she grabs an overhead branch, lifts herself from the saddle, and walks straight up the side of the tree to a point about twenty feet off the ground. She readies her Rope of Entanglement and waits to see what happens next.

Quick question, DM. I was rereading the spell and it says 'can hear and understand', as a level 15, would I know if this spell would effect this creature?

@Hypco: Sure. You'd know that.
@Moonbeam: You're in a small orchid so there are plenty of trees about. However, the bulette is quickly munching its way through them. Let's say there were about 100 trees but it has already eaten 25 of them. So 75 trees left.

@Deadpool: Don't worry. If I'm unsure of something then I'll ask. Also, I'll never punish a character because they weren't speciific enough. Sometimes it's easier if I take agency away but if I do it won't negatively effect you. Like when I took agency away from Oma Salie and gave you all a ton of healing potions :)

Exactly how big is this monster? I saw that it was described as being as big as an adult or possibly ancient dragon, but I'm having trouble finding dimensions for exactly what that means.

Rolana reaches into a tan cloth bag and withdraws a fuzzy object. Let's see if I can't give this beast one more target to distract it.

She throws the fuzzy ball twenty feet in the direction of the bulette. As the object hits the ground, it transforms into an animal, and Rolana shouts her command. Attack the big scaly thing! Go for its belly, if you can!

Why is this damned thing here, now. Aetoris thinks as he moves up to within striking range with his longbow.

If it hits and it's still alive, all other attacks against it until the start of my next turn have advantage from Ambush Master.
