Hello!
My name is Samuel Wise and I am primarily a DM/GM in the D&D 5e ruleset. I am completely new to the Play By Post idea and so might be a bit cautious going forward (as far as working it). However, I am planning on having a 5e game set up and running soon, if anyone is interested.
Favorite Books: Lord of the Rings; Horuse Heresy: Unremembered Empire; Lovecraft's Great Tales of Horror; Complete Plays of William Shakespeare; Sea Faeries.
Excited to try out some games and learn more about the PBP system here at Gamers Plane.

Welcome Samuel! Always glad to get another GM on the site, and as I've seen, you're gung ho on getting a game going! Horus Hersey is something I keep meaning to read. The 40k universe is so fantastically fleshed out. I should get some 40k systems live!

Welcome Teaanddice!
I'm actually currently reading Unremembered Empire, then I have to get the next couple books to catch up again! So happy with how this entire series had been going though.
Hopefully you get to try out and enjoy some awesome PbP games

Yes Keleth, you should get those 40k ones live since there's like 5different games that use the same system and basically same sheets! :P

No kidding. The entire Horus Heresy is great, but Unremembered Empire was particularly good. It had been a long time since I had read such a fulfilling buildup and climax in a book. I've never played a 40k RPG, but Deathwatch has always been an interest of mine.

I really loved The First Heretic, not gonna lie, it made me love/hate the Word Bearers even more! I also loved Angel Exterminatus, and A Thousand Sons a lot too. Really tho, they're all amazing.

I played 40 on the table for a while. I think Dark Heresy is a pretty amazing 40k rpg, and Deathwatch is also very good *but really high powered since you're all playing veteran Space Marines.

Welcome teaanddice! I'm very happy that with 5e, D&D has embraced some of its Lovecraftian roots again.
