Lu takes a deep breath, centering himself like his masters taught him to resist the howl, at the same time letting himself slide deeper in his seat to easily avoid the blast. He then straiten's back in his seat and turns back to the big creature, releasing his killing intent at it.

As the car continues to reverse Lu's stunbolt slams into the creature. The creature does not seem to be slowed down. Checkmate rolls down his window and gets a burst off at the human on the side. The man recoils with pain. Gawdammit Cain, do yer shit!

The large creature seems to absorb Lu's stunbolts with ease. It growls (but not howls) and runs at super human speeds. It jumps and lands on the front of the car one hand hold the left side of the car and the other the right. Its large face an inhuman mess. As it straddles the car you see the bullet wounds clearly. On the left shoulder a bullet drops out of the creature's flesh and lands with a ding on the hood of the car. The wound then begins to close and heal. However, the burned flesh from the lightning ball seems to still be freshly burned.

Checkmate yells back at the snarling visage confronting him through a mere inch of glass, and slams the accelerator. He janks the wheel violently from side to side, trying to dislodge the beast as the 'Mericar lurches backwards.

The sound of claw on steel grates on your ears as the creature flies off the car. It skips across the wet ground and lands 10 meters away on the side of the road. Checkmate is able to use that turn to head off on another street. One of the men yells "CAIIIIINNNN! NO!!!!" And fires wildly at the car. You seem to be able to put about 20 meters more and are cruising away from the ambushers.
