Chapter 2: My Brother's Keeper

"Ahh, the night blossoming jasmine of my families home. Bounty in the darkness. For my part, I agree, Checkmate. Nyx?"

She takes the location shown in the AR, and copies the information to her vehicles navigation system and verifying the data. She does not yet change her route, awaiting.

"I'll share my cut, too, if you help us get those fraggers that killed Ray." Wyvern looks on the edge of tears, unusual for a shadowrunner.

Peaches bites her lower lip. "You negotiate poorly. I hope you don't negotiate your own running contracts."

"Deal." Nyx replies clearly, but is then too engrossed in tinkering with her weapon to pay attention to the rest of the conversation.

"If this is settled, I thinks it's time for our appointment with the doctor..."

Lu gets confortable for the ride and tries to get some rest.

"Does somebody have a way to deal with that door, or should we look around the back?" Checkmate says.

"Only superior firepowah, sugah," she says, smiling coyly.

"Hang on, let me check," Wyvern suggests.

Wyvern dives into the matrix. The Tacoma docks are surprisingly busy (noise level 1). Ads for shipping and processing ping unrelentingly against Wyvern's firewall. The firewall easily burns them up into ashes and cinders. Hovering high above in the air is a blimp with the TDA (Tacoma Dock Authority) logo glowing bright neon blue. Spotlights are constantly flicking around off of the blimp searching like the Eye of Sauron.

She turns her attention to the medical facility in front of her. The facility's AR facade is quite simple and unassuming. None of the regular ads or hospital PR media. Just the logo constantly rotating and a few icons warning that this facility deals with infectious diseases.

She also detects matrix signatures for two cameras. One near the front door and one near the loading bay doors. Swinging around the building she sees another door with a camera above it. A security program in the shape of a low polygon hazmat guard seems to be patrolling around the premises of the facility.

"What's the deal with this place?" Nyx asks, her eyes fixed out the window on the clinic, while her hands absently check the ammunition on her pistol. "You guys expecting more trouble?"

"The doctor is rumored to have a troll sized ghoul underling...Sounds like trouble to me, but I think we can manage."
