"I think they think we’re hired guns for the Gallos. They definitely know whose land they’re on." Molly squints through the darkness at the remains of the camp. "Let’s see what they left behind. I’d guess there’s definitely more of them. Their signal flare signaled someone."

[A dark-haired Latina woman appears within the fire's circle of light. She's well put-together, but her rumpled clothes and hair falling into her face make her look like she's been out in the woods for some time. She puts her hands up—empty—but steps further into the light.]
"¡Gracias a Dios! I thought I was gonna die out here! What was that sound?" She pauses a moment, dizzy. "Do you have anything to drink?"

Jack blinks in surprise as the woman appears "Erm, not on me no. Who are you??"

Calvin feels slightly less wary about this person but is still cautious as he makes his way down to Denton. He gives a nod to the woman, "howdy ma’am, I’m Calvin. Are you ok? What are you doing out here?"

The woman pauses a moment at the sight of Calvin's gun. But the flash of nerves seems to pass as a steely smile appears.
"I'm called Carmen de la Cruz. The Agency sent me to help with the case of the missing children. The old man at the house said I could find you in the forest." The smile lapses for a moment. "But the light faded, and I got myself lost. I thought I was gonna die! But then I heard the commotions and came this way."
She shakes Calvin's hand. "I am pleased to meet you, Mr. Calvin."

Jack can tell although the fires are dying down there area seems quite big for just the people who were hear before possibly since there's several other stones set up for firepits others were going to come as well. You notice a leather sack of some sort wedged under a log. Realization some of the supplies might be stashed around the forest or they may have ditched some supplies to move away quicker comes to mind.

This whole job is starting to stink and someone just popping up to help when we’re in the middle of nowhere is a tad suspect"

"Of course." Carmen rummages through her handbag for a moment. She produces a black envelope. "Cannot be too careful out here. Maybe this will be easing your fear?"

Her letter seems similar to yours besides the name. She's in similar clothes as well.

Jack smiles and nods "Thank's Carmen, I learnt a long time ago to not take things at face value" as he finishes he opens a stopper on the top of a sack that was sitting to one side. A quick sniff of the contents is followed by him taking a drink from it.

Considering the background lets go with Easy (1 purple) for Carmen.The rest of you see Denton looking at a waterskin or wineskin in truth before taking several sips and smacks his lips with a confused look. He doesn't look to be poisoned so it seems odd.
