Scene 3 - The Ardeyn Run

Duke waits in the common area and waits for word of transport once he's checked on their informant.

Large stomping sounds announce Vinny's approach long before he appears at the bottom of the stairs. Vinny walks over to Duke and greets him with a nod.

Micah attempts to haggle for the animals the group needs to buy so they can have their freedom and range of travel.

Seth eyes the peacemakers, not certain if they are a danger to his crewmates or not, but makes sure to keep an eye on his friends to be certain they don't gain the attention of the Queen's police. He greets them respectfully, and then sidles over to Katyushka at the bar, and signals the barkeep for a drink, whatever she is drinking he guesses.

He leans over to her, and at a level he hopes only she can hear, says, "there are a number of the queen's peacemakers here. We best make sure that the other members of our traveling band keep out of trouble."

Seth turns, trying to hide his surprise, and inclines his head respectfully. "We would be honored to assist the Queen, and by extension her Royal Peacemakers, if it is within our power to do so. What is it we may assist with?" He nudges Katyushka with his elbow.

Seth looks to see if he can catch the eye of any of his crew, then bows respectfully and follows them to the private room. "If you wouldn't mind bringing some food in that would be appreciated. I have yet to have my morning meal today."

Vinny spots Seth and moved to meet them at the room, I heard something about free food. You good, Bro? Vinny says with a nod to Seth.

Duke watches and opts to follow with the barman when they bring drink and food.

Seth nods to Vinny, and inclines his head towards the peacekeepers. "These are the Queen's peacekeepers, and they heard we will be traveling to the Path of the Dead. They have a task for us if we are willing and able to perform it. Would you like to come with us to discuss?" He says, though the look in his eyes as he says this to Vinny indicates that he very much wants him along.

A female voice perks up from nearby.
How could we hate something we don't know? She had been spending her time milking her drinks and tried to stay out of the conversation as much as she could.

Micah decides to hire the carriage, knowing that they could use the speed. He pays for 3 days with consideration of future days being needed.
