Scene 3 - The Ardeyn Run

Owing to the creatures intent speed and toughness, Katyushka's attack misses but not by much.

Creature: 9 damage taken

Micah and Seth are up, plus Huval I suppose who has ridden up to the base of the cliff.

The lizard looks like it is taking this new threat seriously.

GM prompt: Seth is up, then El Chompo Mcfacebiter.

The sirrush flares its neck at the fearsome image. Magical energies course forth but the image is unaffected.

Each of you can go again, and Seth can act twice.

A natural 19 gets a +3 damage or a minor effect, your choice.

Duke's attack hits because he put that oompf into it. 4 damage IIRC.

Creature: 12 damage taken, on fire (plus Vinny's attack result).

Micah finds a dagger (light weapon, 2 DMG).

Kayushka's attack wounds it badly. Vinny's attack hurts it and dazes it (one step easier to your attacks and dodges).

Sirrush damage taken: 26

Acting for Seth...

Seth will use Arcane Flare twice (once for last round). Attacks that hit will do 4 damage.

Seth's attack bursts the creature open, and its skin peels away. From inside, a Rukish monstrosity emerges, a biomechanical centipede with black ichor seeping from its many wounds. The creature has a swollen egg sac and rushes Huval who appears to stand in its way.

Huval who is guarding the cliff and the people hiding there, lashes out. The centipede doesn't dodge and they trade blows. Huval strikes it mortally but is stung deeply, and he falls to his knees, hands around the wound.

Combat is over.

Huval struggles to his feet, his brow caked in cold sweat. "I'm okay." He turns around and looks at the people on the ledge, who in turn look hopefully at the Royal Peacemaker. "You're safe with us. Come on down."

The people descend carefully from the cliff. You see two men and a young adult male. They're scraped up but not bearing any obvious serious injuries.
