Scene 3 - The Ardeyn Run

After deflecting the blow, Vinny curls his hand into a giant rocky hammer fist that slams down on to the mercenary.

Taking the hit a bit of blood drips from her nose. She wipes it with a smile. "Mistake, friend." She leaps forward and thrusts her lance...

With butterflies fluttering in his gut, Micah rushes the leader of the mercenaries, striking out at them with his small knife. "Next recursion, I hope I get fireballs!" he says to himself.

The Queen bursts a ball of lightning from her, striking the six foes around her (two drop, including the one Katyu just hit), but it seems to take a lot out of her and she staggers from the effort.

Huval and Domic trade blows with their opponents, teaming up to drop one.

The mercenaries suddenly realize that they're overmatched and look desperately for an exit strategy. That is to say, they drop their weapons and run for the trees. The one Duke set on fire continues to burn but after he runs a short distance he does a frantic stop drop and roll (prone).

The four survivors that were near the cave and the Queen are a Short distance away. The one near Huval and Domic is now a Long distance.

With a feral grin, Micah reaches out a hand and slashes it in front of him. As he does so, a deep canyon rips itself into the ground in front of them.

Duke moves over next to the smoldering man and let's out a whistle. A crack leaks out gas from the ground, Duke Hope's the victim breathes it in.

"Now hold on partner don't try running from me, I'll tell the ground to swallow you up."

"Impressive." She says to the Queen as she cuts down her target.

Becoming more and more impressed with this queen Katyu spins to take a posion at her back. Spotting her next victim she thrust foward her lance. "You all have no chance, but thanks for the workout."

"Somethin' up top is coming down like a Raptor in the Middle East. Lets get in the cave." Duke states grabbing the combatant by the ankles and dragging him to the cave entrance looking around especially above them.

Vinny dusts off his hands as he watches the fleeing mercenary with pride only to produce even more dust.

He then spots Duke heading for the cave and follows him.
